For space, it's different depending on corners/middle.

This game is fun enough that the incredibly discouraging state I'm in doesn't bother me so much. I spent a good hour last night losing to a guy who insisted on playing nothing but unlimited ragna.. I figured it was good scrub practice, but still discouraging. I'm at that awkward state where you're trying to learn how to actually play the game, but you get your shit pushed in by the button mashers.

learning curve is a bitch, but I'm just not sure I can see me playing anyone other than Rachel. ah well. Still love this game.

Just know the universal anti button masher tools for whoever your character is.

Knockdown normal
Fast short range poke
Anti Air
Damaging combos to punish whiffs

Or as I like to call it, KFAD

I just went against a level 30 Jin with 88 dropped matches, I got a double perfect because he just ran around without doing anything...that was weird as hell.

Ya levels mean nothing. I've come across a lot of people in ranked that when they see my card, they bail even though they're a good 10 levels ahead of me.

That used to happen when my card had Noel on it, I guess they assumed I D spammed by default. Now that it shows Tager people tend to change from whatever their character is and play Nu or Arakune instead. I love the people who think they can sword spam though. :lol

But yeah, I've seen people close to level 30 who spam moves like crazy, it's pretty sad they usually have a better win record than I do too.

because that spamming stuff works pretty well against alot of people :lol

So if i win in arcade mode with one character i get an astral finish unlocked?

Indeed, and that must be done with all characters that don't have them already. This would be everyone outside of Ragna, Rachel and Nu

Yeah, I hate losing to them, but especially days like today I do horrible and fall for it a lot.

I just went against I think the second Carl I've seen online, he was a level 21. He beat me in the first, I beat him in the second, then he did the damn clap trap. :lol

He must've messed it up somehow because I escaped, he had pretty much no life left after I beat him up, he barrier bursted and grabbed me from behind with the robot. Fuck. =(

I know, he is easily the least played character. Still, I'm playing the lowest tier and I get hate mail for the 720, so I'd imagine the clap trap still makes people mad as well. :p

Yeah tbh I'm not really worried about my win-loss ratio. Means nothing to me. What means something to me is that I get better over time.

What? I LOVE Noel, she is so awesome.

Her moveset is great once you get the hang of it.

I'm been going through people tryign to figure what my secondary should be. Figured "okay Haku, he's pretty simple". Then took a whack at him... ya no thanks. I see now why he does so much damage, he can't combo or move worth shit.

Really don't know who... Tao maybe? Really should concentrate on Litchi for now I suppose

Haku seems to have all his potential based on being able to string together short combos and counters so that he always has a stock of megatama in place to....string together short combos and counters. As a Gen player in sf4, his degree of difficulty definitely appeals to me.
