The Division 2 : 6th anniversary celebration video

The podcast announcement is weird. Like I feel like it was a "we need more content for Division to keep interest going" and this idea got tossed out and was accepted. If the podcast focused on characters from the two games and explained how they survived and tactics used..that could be cool..but this sounds like it might the same content as dozens of other YT survivalist.

However, I am for any Division content. Excited for the new expansion.

I liked both Division 1 and 2. Would have kept playing if they didn't largely abandon the game. After Warlords of New York there was just a whole lot of nothing and I stopped playing.

Division 1 had a great setting and it helped that I played it for the first time during the covid quarantine. No other game really had that kind of atmosphere. That being said, it didn't really have much else that clicked for me other than the pristine gunplay. It's your typical modern, AAA Ubisoft game and has every single design feature they've been using for the past 15 years. Collectibles everywhere, roaming groups of enemies, and as good as it was the environment is just another static, Ubisoft world. It's a great ten dollar, play it once then uninstall forever kind of game. That being said I think it is worth playing that one time for sure.

i played it twice. & i reinstalled it a few months ago thinking i'll be playing it again...

Is the playerbase still alive? The game is on PS+ Extra.
I only play with a friend so I can't say much about matchmaking etc, but I always see people at the main hub whenever I'm there, and I created a clan for the sole purpose of the weekly rewards for us and somehow people keep joining without me doing anything lol, so there must be a decent number of people playing.

For me it was the environment. Setting the game in New York during the freezing winter was a genius move.
For me it was also how they let you enter random locales within the city, like apartments, malls, random stores, business centers, etc. and go up and down multiple floors to find bits of lore, items, weapons, and clothing.

In many other games where you’d have tons of invisible walls or locked doors(and this game still had a few), it definitely added to the sense of immersion.

Division 2 deserved much more support from Ubisoft. The amount of flops they've put out chasing trends when they already had a great live service game is laughable.

I love this game and am not even close to endgame. The game truly feels INFINITE to me.

Also, I heard they were getting rid of all the progress and resets every new season. Is this true ?

That was the plan a season ago, but they received so much backlash that they scrapped it. Not sure if they were planning to rework it or if the concept is done period.

All I want is Division 3 to return to a snowy city

BTW Just noticed its autumn in the teaser above ... division 2 takes place in summer though right?
Snowy Chicago would be dope. But truth be told I’d like to see something international. Montreal would be cool as Ubi’s hometown.

Asian city would be cool too.

6 years, damn. At some point your life just speeds up.

Had a lot of fun with this game. The missions were really well done and had some cool set pieces.
