1. Final Fantasy 12: While the storyline still leaves something to be desired, the new action type almost MMORPG-like battle system and brilliant score catapult it to a special place in my heart. 88%
2. Dragon Quest 8: I finish the 8th game in the Dragon Quest series still wondering why this is so big in Japan. 75%
3. Donkey Kong's Jungle Beat: Interesting concept, decent execution, but ultimately repetitive and lacking depth. 68%
4. Geist: Everything about this game manages to disappoint, yet not at the magnitude people are expecting. 64%
5. Rumble Roses: 74%
6. Virtua Fighter: Cyber Generations: 79%
7. Super Mario 64x4: While not quite managing to recreate the initial magic felt by the Nintendo 64's flagship release, it still holds up well by todays standards and with the 36 new mini-games has fresh, new life on the Nintendo DS. 90%
8. Ridge Racers (PSP): The visuals manage to blow my mind, especially in handheld format, and the gameplay manages to maintain all the best features of the series over the years. The addition of nitro is welcome, yet unoriginal. In fact, not much of this game feels new or special, disappointing me somewhat. 83%
9. Knights of the Old Republic 2: Another great RPG, but not much new here. 89%
10. The Legend of Zelda Gamecube: Defying everyone who thought it'd be "yet another Zelda game", the developing geniuses at Nintendo manage to innovate both artistically and through the games gameplay. Horse battling ends up more fun than we all expect. This time Link plays a Ocalute, some odd combination of Lute and Ocarina. This infuses the game with yet another interesting yet quirky feature that allows it to feel fresh. 96%
