"I am a huge fan of Hawk Tuah but you took my life savings."

No offense to her, but I feel that this subject is not something she would readily know. Going from that I'm assuming one of the men in that call is probably the person on her team who pitched this memecoin idea to her and screwed her over for a quick buck. Unsure as to why...maybe her podcast was failing after it hit #1 on spotify?

Regardless it's very important to not say yes to ideas like this without running it by multiple other parties and generally people who know how it works first. Even if the idea-person is your most trusted, it is still a good idea to ask around.

This was clearly an obvious scam, but let's not throw all of crypto under the bus because of it. Bitcoin just crossed $100k, you have been proven foolish to have ignored it calling it a scam for the last 15 years.
I like it but I think should only be supplemental to physical assets that people need.

Whats the play here anyway? She releases 1000 "Coins" and as they get bought up, they increase in value? The company holds 99% of the coins, so the "Value" is set as if only 1% are left thus its really high, then they dump the 99% at the 1% value and the entire thing collapses? The weird virtual scarcity of ecurrency always seems oddd to me.

How have people not learned by now that the only person to advertize a coin and make it a success is Elon Musk. Hawk had her 5 minutes of fame, it was a meme that passed its expiry date. Maybe if this was done in the first week of fame, it would of grown for a little bit. But its just crazy how as soon as someone gets some infamy, make a podcast, make a crypto coin. Its like default.

This whole thing is incredible. Just incredible. barstoolsports has a nice summary and I'm sure Coffeezilla will get in on this asap.
This is wild! It’s crazy how quickly people lost their money, especially with the hype surrounding meme coins. Sadly, rug pulls like this seem to be happening more frequently. Always important to do thorough research before investing, especially with projects like these. Hopefully, the authorities take action to prevent further scams like this!

lol.

He wanted (more like his GF wanted) a collaboration with Jason Luv with. As if Jason Luv is going to bang some random women with Beavo wanking in the corner. Delusional and desperate.

Time stamped so you don't need to watch it all

His Mrs is an onlyfans slag, so goes with the territory.

Seeming nice and down to earth is what extended her 15 minutes of fame and made it a bit more bearable that she got famous over something so stupid but then she signed with Jake Pauls media company for her podcast and of course things like this start happening. When you start to let the wrong people in bad things will start to happen and now she is front and center for something I doubt she knows even the slightest thing about.

Clown world… my god…

I mean, I followed some stupid shit in my youth but nothing like this. Are so many people really that stupid or is it just exaggerated? It must be.

There's a lot of crypto fraud out there, and its being done by a few celebrity names that you would expect. Search coffeezilla's channel and you'll see.

Kim Kardashian got famous for making a homemade porn, she is a billionaire.

Next question.
Nah, she got NOTORIOUS for a porn film, and then her SHREWD ASS MOM turned that into MULTIPLE (near) billion dollar industries.

As of August 2024, it's Kim with a cool $1.7 billion to her name. She's followed by youngest sis Kylie with $710 million, and then it's a big step down to the rest of their relatives. While mom Kris Jenner is worth about $170 million, the rest of the Kar-Jenner kids haven't even hit nine figures in overall net worth yet: Kourtney Kardashian's at $65 million while Khloé Kardashian and Kendall Jenner each have $60 million in the bank. (For Kar-Jenner completists, Caitlyn Jenner is reportedly worth $25 million, down dramatically from a high of $100 million in 2022, while brother Rob Kardashian is the broke sheep of the family with a reported net worth of only $10 million.)

It ain't just Kim, it's almost ALL of them. This family will be one of the largest business case studies in history. They hustle hustle hustle and it shows. Look, I detest them as much as anyone but you can't even possibly reduce their wealth to "porn sells".

I havent followed this hawk chick crypto which crashed.

But how is she at fault and being sued? If a cryptocoin launches and fizzles out, why is it her fault? Did she do something illegal manipulating the price?

A while back, people who had minor roles in TV snows got a bit of fame were happy to be able to exploit that recognition by doing DJ sets at provincial nightclubs or shopping centre appearances, now you can go from internet meme to podcast host to currency founder fairly quickly.

I wonder how many people are being asked if they'd like to be the face of some kind of crypto. Presumably absolutely anyone with a big enough following. I assume most of those people have someone smart enough to guide them away from this and can imagine that if there's anyone looking after the interests of this woman, then they might have guessed that her 5 minutes might be up, so why not squeeze as much juice out as you can.
