I used plenty of fish when I was a teen but from what I can tell online dating is dead (unless you're gay and on tinder).

I mean, I can feel my mature thoughts coming through my mind, and this is very good, anyway...

Depression and weird moments in life, made me stronger, you know? maybe the right moment is coming...

It doesn´t matter if you are rich or even good looking. If you are interesting, funny and have good stories to tell, you will eventually find someone.

The HARDER part is to find an adequate female who´s not full of BS (same goes for women searching for a man). Society nowadays has formed a lot of weirdos.

I think you just need to date a lot of people, ask out a lot of girls. Cast your net wide and find what you want.
 
working around women makes it much easier to find someone. That's how me and my wife met, at work. She's an NP and I'm a PA and we worked the same unit at the hospital.

It makes communicating and getting to know people of the opposite sex a lot easier.

Looks don't matter to people with self worth or who have any type of mind to them. I guess it can be a factor somewhat but connecting on a mental level is the most important thing.

When you work with someone for 50+ hours a week, you become more family to them than their blood family and that can bridge a lot of gaps.

Sadly with technology today and the way people are mentally incapable of socializing without being at a bar room or on their phone, it's going to be impossible for some to find a significant other.

Should I try? I intend to stay for 14 days in the city... I don't really know how FEDEX in US works... Or if Stores use to make delivery?

Is it enough 14 days to receiving from another state, I'm not thinking about West or South, but maybe New Jersey or Massachusetts?

You'll probably be fine in most cases. Most companies you can also pay for expedited shipping, which means you can get it as fast as you want - as quickly as "overnight" (expensive) or in 3 business days ("air mail"). Typical ground shipping from anywhere in the continental US is 6 business days, though occasionally slower based on weather delays or mishandled packages.

Another thing to keep in mind is that most hotels don't typically handle packages for their guests here. You'll need to talk with the staff at the front desk of your hotel to find out if that service is even available. If it is a service they provide, it's also one that may come with an additional "package handling fee".

Another alternative would be to use something like Amazon Locker service (if buying from Amazon), which is free. Some UPS retail locations will also hold a package for pickup, but you'll have to check with them locally as well (and there is also typically a few dollars fee for this).
