There was someone from Global News filming us so I dry humped my girlfriend.

I'll play some more tonight after wining and dining with wife.
So far, this game goes beyond words. It's not just the sum of its excellent gunplay, car physics, graphics, voice acting, etc. It is just so amazing in its attention to detail. The city is truly remarkable and organic and very interesting.
Here are 2 things that really blew me away:
1). Once, I tried to jack a car and it didn't go so well. I pulled the guy out of his car before the cops got there and jumped in. As I tried to drive away, he pulled me back out of the car and wanted to fight me. Before I could land a punch, he clocked me pretty hard and I stumbled back without a chance to retaliate. Luckily the cop turned the corner right as he hit me and before I knew it, the cop was running up to the driver and arrested him for punching me! The driver actually went into the patrol car at gunpoint and he drove off with the civilian! Amazing that an AI cop arrested a fellow AI citizen.
2). I randomly stopped some SUV in the road, pulled out my shotgun and pointed it at the driver. The frightened facial expression on the driver was amazing. He threw his hands up and got out of the car, telling me not to blow him away. This is some next level shit.
Another time, I had an AI bum chase me into my apartment because I shoved him. I ended up stabbing him.
The melee combat is actually pretty fun thanks to 3 different attack buttons and a melee counter that allows you chain together stylish counterattacks.
We also found a bunch of car hybrids. For instance, a Lexus IS300 mixed with an Audi S4, a Toyota Corolla AE86 Levin, etc. The car models look great in this game and I think the driving physics are really nice. You can actually tell the handling difference between FWD and RWD cars, and there's even weight transfer at work here (which allow for feints to initiate drifts).
Game of the forever confirmed.
Oh, and the bowling minigame is great. So is dating.

I'm not willing to give up the DLC. I'm not! But my PS3 is soooo much quieter...

Poor guy.

Oh man that's horrible. If anything like that happened to me I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to control my rage.DeadCell said:Someone drove past us screaming "Grand Theft Auto sucks!". We all assumed they were waiting to buy the Wii version.

Hmmm that's not a bad idea. I'd still miss out on achievements... but I gotta tell you, that industrial-grade death whine my 360 made all the way through Mass Effect really detracted from my experience, and I am not letting anything fuck with my enjoyment of GTA4.theBishop said:when are we going to find out about the DLC anyway? I've tried two different TVs, using HDMI, component and composite cables, and I've had no luck with any of them. I appear to be well and truly SOL).
