It is really good, however they really do shoehorn every possible "social issue" into the show, and then some of the dialogue is insanely preachy, other than that the actual show is good
I noticed many shows have "preachy dialogue" moments not just nowadays back in the day too, but then it was more, let's all get along and accept each other, it may just be me but I feel today it's more preachyIt is really good, however they really do shoehorn every possible "social issue" into the show, and then some of the dialogue is insanely preachy, other than that the actual show is good
Had to laugh when they said nurses don't make a living wage.It is really good, however they really do shoehorn every possible "social issue" into the show, and then some of the dialogue is insanely preachy, other than that the actual show is good
"Anyone can be addicted to opioids its not just poor people" was my favorite, when the guy was like "i work a job, own a home im successful i cant be addicted" lolHad to laugh when they said nurses don't make a living wage.
Dude that’s so real. I had an insane addiction to opioids after spending over a year in the hospital with leukemia. I had no choice, I would have died without them. After my recovery started, my doctors told me it would take 3-5 years before I would be fully off of opioids. I did it in 2 years, and it was easily the most difficult thing I’ve ever done in my life, and I even had a support structure. Shit is so fucked."Anyone can be addicted to opioids its not just poor people" was my favorite, when the guy was like "i work a job, own a home im successful i cant be addicted" lol
I hope for your sake that your avatar is Megas XLR and not Optimus Prime. The latter would be like having Captain Planet as your avatar and stating what you just stated.I noticed many shows have "preachy dialogue" moments not just nowadays back in the day too, but then it was more, let's all get along and accept each other, it may just be me but I feel today it's more preachy
I can see why NBC didn't want to do it, tbh.Wasnt this show supposed to be a continuation of ER but NBC didnt want to do it, so they just made their own show?
I like that they convey that ‘non-stop’ feeling of working in an ER where a simple one day shift can feel like weeks or months.

I hadn't heard that, but I do know that Michael Crichton's family filed a lawsuit over the show because it was so similar to E.R.Wasnt this show supposed to be a continuation of ER but NBC didnt want to do it, so they just made their own show?
Week to week. Yeah I know it’s real, I guess there are some people who may need to knowDude that’s so real. Anyway, this show looks pretty cool. I’m definitely gonna give it a whirl when I get some free time. Are all of the episodes already available, or are they rolling them out week-by-week?
ER trailed off in the final seasons after most of the original cast left but the first few seasons were must-watch TV.No, please.
ER strikes me as a show with many incoherent situations and the later seasons with detestable characters.
I wouldn't watch the show again.
Dr. House is much better.
Don't worry it's not out of character for you at all.
Not everything but most of Hollywood/entertainment slop is about that shit and it's fucking obvious, their obnoxious lecturing is impossible to ignore anymore even if we wanted and trust me, I'd love to be oblivious like I was before and not have their political bullshit disrupt my enjoyment of a show/movies/game but it's impossible now. They did it so frequently and so smugly that the point of no return has been reached years ago for most of us that we can't help but notice this shit everywhere. But what a coincidence, when I watch 90s shows or movies I can't notice none of this cancer, hell, even if a show got preachy back then it did it in a respectful manner without smelling its own farts
I apologize for coming at you like that. These fucking culture wars are cancer on humanity. I shouldn't have let it get to me. Again, I apologize.
The ungrateful man still complains about having a job... He should even be grateful for having something to eat... Yes, I hate those incoherent bits."Ahhhhh fuuuuck I hate my job it's so busy alllll the timmmmeeeeee. Sick people come in and now I have to help them FUUUUUUCKKK MY LIFFEEEE"
Fuck off.
I imagine it's a Warner Bros. production, right? It is really good, however they really do shoehorn every possible "social issue" into the show, and then some of the dialogue is insanely preachy, other than that the actual show is good
I have a feeling that series isn't even going to be a huge hit... That actor is stuck in his same role.
Noah Wyle as Carter?
He did The Librarians and Falling Skies, both awesome ass shows where he was nothing like Carter.
If he wants to do an ER pseudo-sequel for some $$$ at this point in his career, I'd say he's earned it.
I loved the original Leverage, never watched the....re-launch? Continuation? You're forgetting Leverage: Redemption also. I love that show.

He took over for Tim Dutton, right?
