That's fucking harsh, the level of corporate greed and distain for workers rights in America is truly something else, I don't know how y'all can live knowing that your life can be fucked over from an accident requiring a hospital stay not covered through insurance to your bosses wanting another Hollywood hills mega mansion and paying you peanuts, fuuuuuck fat, far too much uncertainty and far to much powers in the hands of corporations

Same here it feels like such a backwards world where u have zero rights on anything other then being a work slave to work yourself to death. I couldn't function in a world like that.

My current job got bought out by a corporation recently. Started billing customers $75/hr per person for labor, while the same people doing the work got pay cuts. Highest employee is at $15/hr now. I'm looking for something else

A few retro 1990s CGI videos for all the old techies out there. These animations were considered state of the art at the time.

Terminator 2 (1991) remained the state-of-art for many years. (until 1995 toy story?)

Both of those are some of the most recognized movies in cinematic history. Terminator 2 was way ahead of it's time and was a turning point in the advancement of CGI. Same for Toy Story. So many ideas and technologies to push effects even further. An entire movie made with CGI was a monumental achievement. Back then it took rooms full of computers to render each scene. Another film, and one of the first iterations of CGI in film, was a movie called Young Sherlock Holmes directed by Barry Levinson in 1985. A fantastic movie that's rarely shown on the networks for some reason. Industrial Light & Magic did the effects with musical score by Bruce Broughton. Here's a scene in which some stained glass windows in a church aren't what they seem to be:

I used to have serious arachnophobia growing up, so I feel your pain. Exposure is the best medicine imo.
Learning more about spiders and looking at them in person and videos helped me mostly overcome my phobia.
They're actually very cool creatures, but understandably get a bad rap because of how creepy they look.

Appreciate you saying that and how you went about it.

Yeah they are insane and yes I partly blame arachnophobia as well as Jaws. Two movies that enhanced already existing deep fears lmao.

I feel your advice as in exposure would help tremendously but not today friend haha, not today!

Even on a fucking screen they're to much.

Thanks for your post. 👊🏽
