I tell ya... when I woke up and realized it was Thursday... I ran downstairs to look under the Thursdaymas Tree to see what presents Nintendo brought me!!!! But then I realized there were no presents... because there is no Thursmas Tree. :( Oh well at least I still have my Thursdaymus decorations up!

giant Revolution/Mario 128 ad shown at Star Wars

I'm just looking foward to being able to download Sin&Punishment on Revolution along with hundreds of other Awsome and rare but never forgotten games.

I saw the midnight showing and XBOX was the only thing video game related in the previews.

I'm hoping the download library will really extend to nearly all of the officially licensed Nintendo games (including 3rd party), not just the big first party hits and one or two of their really crappy games like Urban Champion :p There's definitely a market in officially translating, for the first time, some oldskool games that never came out here - we'll start with DQ6 :D And oh yeah, Sin and Punishment definitely needs a release on this.

Dudes, I just want to add to the mayhem with this wishful-thinking/fantasy (extracted out of a chat with a pal)

but you don't really buy it
well while you're checking out stuff that's being shown
you notice some nintendo peeps
walking around
and positioning themselves
and they all wear a T-Shirt
that says something like "Welcome to the Revolution" on the back
you find that somewhat suspicious
well soon after
(oh yeah, you maybe make the rounds and notice these same peeps scattered around E#)
then you hear an announcement
"The Revolution is coming"
"Please start your DS now"
"Or come to XXX to witness the future of gaming"
so you start your DS
and you notice that there's something new available for download
the Rev peeps you saw early are the seeds for this Download scattered around E3
so you quickly DL the stuff
and start it
it looks like a Room
kinda like the room in Nintendogs
with a TV
a bookshelf
some stuff
(like your typical room)
but it has a Revolution there in the middle of it
you also see a number that is constantly increasing
you quickly figure, that it's the other peeps with DSs connecting to the same hub
instructions on the top screen explain how you can navigate the room
and explore it
and it tells you that YOU will soon be able to help uncover the revolution
of course you still go to location XXX
where you see a Big screen showing the same room
and a big Wario face (like he shows up in Wario Ware)
kinda like a DJ and looking at the number of connected peeps
steadily rising
you also notice a revolution prototype that has been setup
the announcement then says
"The revolution starts NOW!"
the instructions on you DS tell you that you can now move around the room and explore
(doing so is like in Prime scanning
that is you get info on some items
like when you move over the Revolution it tells you "a nintendo Revolution game console")
and then the instructions tell you
"Now help the others discover what the revolution is!
When the countdown reaches Zero, you will be able to interact with one item you selected"
then you see on the big screen, it shows what the current "active" DS is doing
and you see the guy looking around like crazy
and constantly clicking on the Revolution console
and it keeps telling him, "the console is not working"
and bam
his 10sec are over
and you see that your countdown is until it's your turn to try to figure something out
after a while of search and doing stuff
you hear on your DS and the speakers "Iwata-san has joined the challenge"
and a message pops-up
"Even though the new Nintendo is revolutionary... it still runs on electric power"
bam it's your turn (what a coincidence)
you immediately notice the power socket
go there
and touch it
and it asks you if you want to connect the Revolution
of course you say "YES"
and notice on th big screen (being relayed to your DS on the top screen now) that Wario goes "oh no no" and is starting to sweat
you also notice that the real-revolution they had setup is now also powered-up
of course the next guy in line is quick to hook-up the revolution with the TV in the room
and this is when you see on the Big screen that the scene changes
and is now rendered in beautiful "photorealistic" detail
and it moves along to show what the current DS is doing
after not very long
of course someone finds the Mario128 game on a shelf
(maybe after a view hints of a new user called Shiggy-san
and goes to put it in the revolution
it then shows a video of Mario128
on the big screen
and the current DS is always able to change the view
and show that it's real-time
and running on the Rev that they have setup on the show floor
well to cut a long story a little shorter
after a few other videos
and not much "real" information
(ie no controller shown)
the demo ends and it says
"The revolution has begun
(a logo of DeMasked appears)
the revolution will reach the World
(a logo of Nintendo WiFi Connenction appears with year end 05)
and the Revolution will triumph
(the true logo of the Nintendo revolution is shown with next year specified)
and all the DSs turn off automatically
/end of story

Oh yes that should be Nintendo's main goal to bring over all the games that never made it on their original consoles like all the SNES Fire Emblems, Marvelous, S&P that would be awsome. I would gladly pay reasonable fee for games that are officially translated for the first time ever just for Revolution download. :)

I can see the conversation in PM between Drinky and someone else. Drinky says he can start a 1000+ post thread on absolutely nothing, and if he does, he wins some sort of amount of money.

And he's GOING TO WIN, DAMMIT.

EDIT: I like how "Thursdayton" in Spanish is...."Thursdayton". Couldn't they make it sound more romantic like "De Ton de la Thursday" or something?

This thread and hype on other sites have forced Nintendo's hand.. now they must reveal something. This method is exactly as effective as online petitions.

This thread is just taking up GAF bandwidth in artificially increasing traffic to this site.

this is going to be the biggest day of OWNAGE for Nintendo fans.

a few years ago the Megaton for Gamecube was just significant only to Gamecube


but Thursdayton is significant to Nintendo's entire future! :D :lol
