Crow eating threads are the weirdest tradition.
is it really a tradition when it's one guy desperately trying to show off teh haterz?
Crow eating threads are the weirdest tradition.
Haha, well done.
By what standard did AOU bomb?this thread bombed harder than AOU
Heh. I'm mostly kidding. I did at one point have one but I swapped laptops at work and lost it. >_>
By what standard did AOU bomb?
Okay, that's true.The quality standard.
So uhh, is this suppose to be good results? I'm confused?
The quality standard.
textedit open for 11 months. Cut and paste, save anything worthwhile. Nice try at deflection though!
By what standard did AOU bomb?
it didn't lol, but that seemed like a point of contention on gaf for a while.By what standard did AOU bomb?
Just like how everyone pretends the SW prequels don't exist. (Bad news: they do - deal with it)
Bombing is strictly a financial/box-office term. Before any further discourse gets mucked up by this misunderstanding, let's straighten this out.
Highlighting that Ant-Man opened to 58M is no reason for anyone to eat crow. It just surpassed Hulk to take its place as the second smallest MCU opening.
I will make the crow thread when Ant-Man wins the Oscar for best picture and all of you said it would never happen.
I am recording posts. You all have been warned.
The crow eating stuff has been brought up in the MCU/Ant-Man Production threads a few times through the year. He might not be kidding about actually saving that stuff.
Did you see how quick to the trigger OP was to refute another poster's comment with a link deep into his post history? It's impressive actually.
If Marvel can make a movie about Ant-man successful then it makes their refusal to make a Black Widow movie all the more confusing.

Around $130 million. What's the budget on this thing?
Are people meant to feel bad when they get predictions wrong? I mean I did think it would be bad and would bomb, but I'm in no way disappointed it didn't. i liked it a hell of a lot ,ore than I bought I would and I'm happy with that. This "eat crow" culture is incredibly strange to me.

But Gonzalez said it would
Maybe, I'm not too familiar with this shit. I didn't get a hostile vibe from the OP but again that could be my lack of education on the matter.
Damn, Marlon Brando was one handsome motherfucker.
Maybe culture is the wrong word, but it's especially evident over in Gaming that whenever someone posts a dissenting opinion he can be jumped on by people saying "get ready to eat crow". It's just odd to me it doesn't generate healthy discussion of the topic at hand, it's just well, exactly what you said. It's not a culture so much as it is handful of people edging for a year after doing an insane amount of work getting flustered over the opinions of others, finally gaining a release once some subjective validation comes there way.
In short, you worked for months to have the best oragsm of your life over the equivalent of stick figure porn.
Seems pretty hostile to me, you've saved posts from 10-20+ posters for the only purpose of making them look foolish. Not so much others being sensitive but rather you looking petty.I'm not hostile at all. Some folks be all sensitive.

Crow threads are incredibly petty. Either remove people's names from the posts or let it go.
The Splatoon one being posted over and over was particularly sad.
Isn't 58M one of the lowest opening for a Marvel movie? At least since they started beeing rather big
