The current style for Daybreak is fine, Falcom has improved a lot since their early 3D days. In Daybreak, the characters models and combat/craft animations are really cool. The few mocapped cutscenes they have are excellent. They finally got the style right. The newer stuff didn't look interesting, the first couple of games did and the remake looks ace. Technically it's probably not far removed but it just looks right this time,. Previously I wished they stuck with the Ys Oath/Origin style, this one I like & don't mind the change.

Different audiences. So they're releasing two Trails game this fall? This and Beyond The Horizon. Weird choice to compete against yourself but I notice the publishers are different, NIS for Horizon and GungHo for this one. I wonder why they ditched NIS for this one.

It's not looking good, this is the latest info I have although it's a few months old:Did they confirm yet if they're still going to make use of PH3 Games for this, like their other PC ports in the past few Trails and Ys games?
I'm hoping so because they've all been fantastic.
Welp, guess that fun extras for the version will probably be neutered, just hope the port runs well ¯\(ツ)/¯It's not looking good, this is the latest info I have although it's a few months old:

Basically, they just confirmed they're doing all the PC work in-house and that PH3's involvement hadn't been determined (which is the polite way of a Japanese company telling you "no").
