Twitch has updated its guidelines on sexual content following mass outrage that occurred as a result of a new ‘topless’ meta taking over the site.

Over the weekend of December 8, a new ‘meta’ gained popularity on Twitch after streamer, cosplayer, and OnlyFans model ‘Morgpie’ went viral on social media.

Morgpie’s stream showed the broadcaster seemingly topless, sparking outrage across the net as to what kinds of content was allowed on Twitch.

- Changes: Certain content now allowed with labels
- Artistic Nudity: Permitted under Sexual Themes Label
- Game Nudity: Contextual; labels necessary-
Body Painting: Acceptable with appropriate label-
Mature Games: Label generally…

They have rolled it back, no more nudity.

Cores, shaders and BIOS oh my!
Like who's gonna be the judge on if it's artistic or not, this pretty much means anything goes because if not they'll get backlash again from something that did pass as artistic and they banned only to be corrected etc.

All the hoes (any gender) are gonna be like HOW DARE YOU I'M NOT DOING PORN I'M DOING ART HERE!

Just fucking put porn on Twitch with a porn on/off toggle when you sign up. Anything remotely sexual shown without being tagged as such is a permanent ban. Done.

I have no idea how this is so difficult. Absolutely nobody is pretending it's not be a hub for softcore porn for years now.

I’m wouldn’t call myself a prude at all but even still, this seems like a terrible idea

Time to RESPECT THE REBRAND, fellow chuds. Here's the very clear message I've put together based on the various Vice articles, social media posts, and most importantly corporate endorsements on what is acceptable vs. unacceptable throughout the last few years.

1. You better not sexualize women! - That's bad!
B) But you better pay women for sex work (which should be decriminalized (but not legalized because then they'd have to pay taxes on it)) but ONLY if you're watching it respectfully. - That's good!
²). But words are violence so don't interact just consooom and pay. Also don't look down on women for taking the easy way out and respect it as an artform and don't enjoy it just consoom it. - Just do it!

Pretty cut and dry, if I do say so myself.

I miss the 2010-14 or so era on Twitch before Amazon bought it. Back before camgirls, "twitch rivals", streamers being paid to shill games, drama, influencers, and all the other nonsense took over.

Sounds a bit strange, as it's mostly just kids hanging around there. But on the other hand, if you want, you can get porn everywhere. Well, I completely stopped watching anything on Twitch for a while. I wouldn't be surprised if the audience numbers have gone down considerable.

This is why it's so scummy. It's a sneaky way to gain a following among kids and even their money since a gift card or credit card charge to Twitch is pretty innocent compared to a blatant porn site.

Twitch loves coomer streams. They'll never admit it but actions speak louder than words.

They have created safe spaces for these thots numerous times. First "just chatting", then "ASMR", then "hot tubs & beaches", then "body paint". Now this "artistic nudity" label is basically a greenlight to the thots to push the boundary even further.

Being serious for a min. This is just the cowards way out for twitch.

These people bring in the money so they will never perma-ban them. So basically
If twitch adds this new filter they don’t have to ban anyone and just set them to this status and then twitch can blame users for not filtering them out without really doing anything at all themselves.
