The actual quote from the station manager, albeit paraphrased, was "He did not handle the firing well and had to be escorted from the building by police." It was directly implied the police were called because he would not leave.

Also the initial shots may have been minor. I personally know someone who got hit in the arm and it lodged in the chest. Walked 2 miles, took a bus to the hospital and didn't realize he had been hit in the chest until he was in the ER.

Maybe no individual incident can change the way America thinks about guns, but I still believe that when the bucket of bad news gets full enough that there will eventually be enough public support for SOME sort of control.

This has been said ad nauseam, even in this own thread. You have to acknowledge that right to bear arms is a fundamental human right guaranteed at the formation of our nation, and thus no matter how 'moved' Americans may be, it is not a right that can revoked easily. I wish we didn't have that right, honestly, having lived in a gun-free country before... but it's something that we have to live with until America is no more, it seems. Blame the short-sighted 'founding fathers' for this bullshit.

The guy probably felt like the world was out to get him and nobody would listen, and this was his only recourse.

I'm interested in finding out if he was seeing discrimination where there was none or if he was driven to acting like a fucking evil scumbag due to legit issues within the workplace.

Yeah, same. A group of us were watching it and my stomach turned when he held the gun up. He was way too close for comfort. They told me it wasn't graphic and the first shot still missed her though, then the camera goes dark?
