Ubisoft Adding Cross-Play to All Its PvP Games; it's "Well Underway"

During Ubisoft’s financial conference call for investors and analysts, the company’s executives talked about cross-play.

The publisher recently implemented the feature on Brawlhalla, and during the Q&A session it was asked whether the feature will be implemented across its larger franchises.

Chief executive officer Yves Guillemot provided a promising answer.

“Yes, our goal is to put cross-play on all the PvP games that we have at the time, so that’s well underway.”

Chief financial officer Frederick Duguet also added that the feature has just been implemented in Brawlhalla. While the publisher believes that it will increase engagement, it’s too early to draw a conclusion.

I'm not sure Ubisoft is a significant player in the PvP arena. If Bungie implemented this, it would be pretty sweet, tho.
