But if someone claims they are a tree or carrot, that's not allowed and they are human no questions asked.

Put it this way. If someone is Swedish, blond with blue eyes and everyone in their family tree is Swedish. It makes no difference if they grew up in a house that 100% lived like an Indian family... language, food, religion, clothes etc.... The person is still a Swedish ethnic background no matter how much he thinks he's an Indian dude. He can think what he wants in his head all day, but when it comes to demographic classification, he's still a Swedish check box, not Indian.

But that doesn't mean he cant live like an Indian family. Go ahead. Nobody says you cant.

When the trans grift runs out of steam, they will start with that stuff.

My beef with this trans phenomenon, beyond the worrisome underlying issue of why it seems to be exploding of late, is primarily limited to sports, sex based awards ("Woman of the Year" being awarded to a guy who won olympic gold as a man, for example), and incarceration/bathroom/schools. A dude dressed as a lady walking down the street, who cares? Girl at work wants to be addressed as "Mr."? Sure. Even the pronoun thing isn't -horribly- annoying so long as it isn't FORCED upon folks with clearly gendered names/profile pics who have no need of them.

I do find it odd that while data suggests MtF is 2-4x as common as FtM, my personal experience is 100% MtF, and that's several dozen in the sample pool. Either FtM are not NEARLY as common, can pass better and thus go unnoticed (particularly in the news since they don't seem to be sports types or politicians), or are all clustered in spaces I don't go. MtF though, you can find bucketloads of them at cons, parades, and any kind of fringe hippy event. The thought does occur that these are men cloaking themselves in order to hunt their prey.....
