UK Woman convicted in first known case of cyber farting

Rhiannon Evans, 25, of Caernarfon, Gwynedd, pleaded guilty to pursuing a course of conduct amounting to the harassment of Deborah Prytherch by sending 'inappropriate' videos.
The magistrates imposed 15 rehabilitation sessions, 60 days alcohol abstinence monitoring and a two-year restraining order.

Evans must pay £100 compensation and £199 costs. She mustn't contact the victim.
I heard the UK was going to shit, but this is ridiculous.

2025 is off to a good fart.

Is it really harassment? I'd probably be laughing so much because we all know nothing is funnier than farting. Just get on with life. Absolute bender.

Glad to see the police force that's spread thin diligently pursued this though, instead of real crimes.

The UK is the most pathetic soyboy weak country imaginable.

Every Monty python sketch would land the group in jail today. Country has gone soft. Their judges with their wigs must hate themselves.

The “victim” couldn’t have just, I don’t know, put her on block?

It’s not like she followed her around, or showed up at her house.

Damn, they are making you not talk about rape gangs calling it extremism, while covering up 100ks worth of abuse of girls, allowing them to take pictures of children at schools, then the BBC calling you racist if you don’t, while getting the government to make you pay licenses for them to tell you that.

Holy 1984, Batman. You poor saps.

Edit: my assumption is they are going to start arresting for thought crimes like silent prayer, or standing in protest silently.

Malicious communications are a crime, however it is extraordinarily difficult for people to get the police to intervene in stalking / harrassment cases. If you complain the police usually tell you to just block the nutters.

Issues such as prisoners contacting their victims from jail are not unheard of. I would be surprised if this is purely about farting, the Daily Mail is not a respected news source.

It's already happened.

After Isabel Vaughan-Spruce was arrested twice for praying outside an abortion clinic, British MPs voted to officially include silent prayer and consensual conversation to the buffer zones around abortion clinics.

Well if you think Daily Mail is full of hot air, maybe they have a job lined up for her
