I live only a few minutes from Jackson, TN. It's gotten rough in the past couple years.

Buchanan @ 1 st. is downtown near the projects. It's always been bad there.

You're fine in small-town Illinois. Rural Michigan has right-wing militias and juggalos, so I'd avoid it.

The Upper Peninsula is one of the most beautiful places in the States.
