Meh, I enjoyed it, if you like the previous Venom films you'll like this one, maybe not as good as the first film, but better than the second

Watched the beginning yesterday.
Didn't like much the symbiot edgy teenager bits and Hardy acting like a puppet with no control over his body gets also really old fast.

Overall perfect marvel crap i'd love if i still was 12 yo.

Finally watched this with a friend and after the second meh one Im shocked this wasnt a bigger hit. Its miles better than the second one, hell, even as good as the first imo. We both really enjoyed it, it had great comedy, great tear up moments, decent action, the only negative is that it ended too fast.

I personally think it’s the weakest of the three, but I enjoy them all as somewhat guilty pleasures. Tom Hardy is the primary reason, he’s a very charismatic and likable lead, and his and Venom’s banter is a fun time.

This was a reasonable hit though, it only did $30 million less than Venom 2, but that still had it a pretty solid profit. Certainly the Venom movies all did far better than Morbius, Madame Webb, and Kraven in the box office.

Pretty much same opinions as yourself, the 2nd was a big let down but this was realy enjoyable for an easy watch. The only thing was that scientist woman, my wife said toward the end what was the point of the back story as she may aswell not been in the film, then you see that there leaving it for a possible sequal aka the Venom version of Madame Web, I think they would be wise to leave the series alone now.

Yeah lmao the scientist background was random af and had no relevance except for the 3 seconds when she becomes the flash. Seems like the movie was cut, and was going to be much longer. Like I said, felt way too short. Still, very enjoyable. Hopefully yeah no more Spider-Man solo villain movies. Sony should fucking remove their head out of their ass and allow Tom Holland to be in a new Venom movie, but alas I reckon Tom Hardy is done with it.

I think you’re confused. Disney doesn’t want holland in the Sony universes for very extremely obvious reasons.
