That scene in the first picture was iconic in my mind when I was a kid. Looking back on it it reminds of the beginning of RE4 when the villagers come after LeonYes!!!

Alas, we lost Fred Ward a few years back.
In my head canon Remo learned all those skills then went back to Perfection, Nevada and had to fight graboids
I remember reading a bunch of The Destroyer pulp novels back in the day, apparently Shane Black tried to reboot them but never did. There is a gold mine in doing sleezy period piece adaptations of those types of books.
The hardest part is actually finding them. Most of those types of films were from now long defunct studios and its a PITA figuring out there they are.
