What, are you listening to?

Happy 30th birthday to K-Pop legend Kim Taeyeon. If groups like BTS and Blackpink currently enjoy popularity in the US and Europe, it's mainly because of her and SNSD who were one the first global K-Pop acts, and certainly the most popular one amongst the global pioneers.

Having a Data Spring Clean and turned up nearly 650 vaporwave tracks on a thumb drive. Now I have a 28 hour mixtape that is great for work.

I'm going to see Slipknot this summer. I've always been kind of a fan, but never got huge into their stuff. I have heard that their live performances are incredible, so I figure I would check them out. Just been listening to a bunch of different live shows. I can't stop headbanging. I'm digging it.

It's also really good gym music. :messenger_bicep:

Diving into Alice In Chains a bit deeper, while also trying to sift through the early 80's Alternative rock bands (New Order, Joy Division, Echo) while peppering in some Iggy and the Stooges...

and old school techno! (we're listening a lot of music like this in work):

NO... NO... You're not getting stuck in my head tonight! La la la I can't hear you.

Giving these one last listen before the 'faux outrage' gets them classified as white supremacist songs.
Oh no. Please don't tell me the shooter was playing Eurobeat during the stream.

The most recent non-kpop thing I've been listening to is Dana Jean Phoenix. Can never get enough synthwave with actual vocals.

EDIT: BTW, the title of this thread triggers me every time I see it. The random-ass comma and misspelled "to" make me :messenger_pouting:

I know I talked about Slipknot a few posts back, but Corey's ability to control a crowd is really something else. Apparently this do this at every show. Now I'm super excited to see them in August.

Digging the new (posthumous) Lil Peep song, and I'm not big into SoundCloud rap. RIP man, you died too young.

Kinda conflicted on this. Almost everything released after he died just sounds like shitty mainstream fake depressed pop music. Wonder if he wanted his stuff to sound like that. Weird.

I've been listening to circa 1980s Red Hot Chili Peppers. So good.
