Bear in mind that this is a "other than your own teams" type of question. I mean, it's pretty easy to want your own team to win
but I'm curious if there are other teams that you especially would like to see win a title. Also, it's no fun without giving a reason as to why you want to see this team win, though of course the most generic answer is good enough. After all, I am simply fond of the....Houston Rockets, so seeing them win a title would make me happy for their fans.
Anyway, I've got these teams.
NFL
*Detroit Lions-They've been the most long suffering NFL team ever. Also, Stafford is one of my favorite QB's ever (Bulldogs!). In general, teams that suffer so much deserve some success.
*Green Bay Packers-Probably because it's nice to have another five win super bowl team. Speaking of which....
*49ers and/or Cowboys-It would be so nice to see another team tie The Steelers in Super Bowl wins. Eff The Steelers.
*Chicago Bears-For a franchise which so much great success, they only have one Super Bowl win. That's kind of jank IMO.
*Cleveland Browns-Because The Browns, that's why. Poor Cleveland.
*Buffalo Bills-Four Super Bowls and four losses in a row. Damn. Seal the deal!
MLB
*Chicago Cubs-Come on, this one is number one. Has there been other team that has suffered so much? Well, at least they have a winning record, but damn has the team suffered a lot.
*New York Mets-Shame that the Yankees pretty much hog everything from the Mets.
NHL
*Eh....the Leafs? The Blues I suppose considering that they've always choked. Ditto for the Sharks. I suppose the Ducks winning more titles would be cool, but just because their mascot is a duck.
NBA
*76ers-I consider the 76ers to be one of the greatest NBA franchises, but they don't have many titles to show for it. I would like to see them have more than only three to show for their history.
*New York Knicks-Ditto for the Sixers. They only have two titles, but New York is a basketball strongpoint. They don't have enough banners in their arena.
*Houston Rockets-I've always liked The Rockets, cool team. They also have James Harden who I want to see win a title. Cute Mascot, too.
*Detroit Pistons-Yet another 76ers like team. I also really, really feel for Detroit. Always have.
(My poor AZ Cardinals and Coyotes better win sometime!)
