My teams:
Aston Villa (May 30th, please god please)
Miami Dolphins
Leinster Rugby

Other teams (basically the big underdogs):
NBA:
Orlando Magic
Phoenix Suns
LA Clippers
New York Knicks

NFL:
Minnesota Vikings
Cleveland Browns

Baseball:
Chicago Cubs
Kansas City Royals

NHL:
Vancouver Canucks

Montreal Canadiens :)

It might not be this year, but I have a feeling we're on the right track to one. Price,Subban and Pacioretty Deserve one,

As for other Teams.

I know Raptors might never win a NBA Championship BUT here's hoping someday before I kick the bucket.

As a bonus, teams that can never win anything ever again!

Boston Celtics.
Pittsburgh Steelers.

I also want a Lakers Boston finals in which the Lakers win their 17th title.

Lakers are my favorite team of all time.

I'll do one for all major American sports

MLB - I think the Boston Red Sox are really due, a last place finish last year and no pitching at all right now. It would make for a great story if they turned it around and brought their city a World Series win

NBA - The Celtics are the winningest franchise in NBA history, but they've had a rough few years. Their coach ditched them and draft lotteries haven't gone their way. They've got an awesome young coach who could really rally the city of Boston if they won next year and remind the league who's won the most NBA titals

NHL - I'd like to see the Bruins win a cup. They missed the playoffs this year and have to rebuild with a new GM. What better sports story then the old great team coming back to the top?

NFL - This is an easy one, the Patriots. It would be perfect for Brady to respond to the disrespect and win a Superbowl to further cement himself as the Greatest of All Time

Oops read thread wrong.Edit if any of these teams win besides my teams I would feel a little bit OK with outcome

NBA: Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings, Memphis Grizzlies, Detroit Pistons

NFL: NY Jets, NY Giants, GB Packers, Indianapolis Colts, Philadelphia Eagles.

NHL: Calgary Flames, Detroit Red Wings, Montreal Canadiens.

The Dutch deserve a World Cup win. For a small nation, they have produced some great players and even some of the all time greats. They consistently field good teams and deserve 1 win even as an outsider. I would also throw Croatia in there as well for many of the same reasons though they are not as powerful as the Dutch teams have been on a whole.
I agree with this. The Oranje are cool.

The only two that I feel intensely passionate about:

The Oklahoma City Thunder: if we keep KD and Russ together we'll have a great shot.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys: It would be a dream come true to see the Pokes win a title in football in my lifetime. We've already come closer than I thought we ever would in 2011-12.

Eagles - I just want my team to win just one so everyone else in the NFC East can shut up about our empty trophy case.

Cavs - Just because it would be cool to see it.

Outside of wanting to see the US win, I think the Dutch are the second team I wanna see win.

(2026 US World Cup with the final on July 4th 2026 and the US winning it 250 years after we declared independence is about all I want)

NFL
*Detroit Lions-They've been the most long suffering NFL team ever. Also, Stafford is one of my favorite QB's ever (Bulldogs!). In general, teams that suffer so much deserve some success.

Fear not friend because the 11-5 playoff Lions from last year are improved and are probably the most well rounded team in the league.

It also helps to have a 27 year old stud of a franchise QB who can make any throw.

I honestly believe we'll win a Super Bowl within the next 3 years with this current team, coaching staff and front office. We came close last year till the Phantom Pass Inteference Call took that away from us.

It took a wild card win away from you, not a Super Bowl.

Thanks for the respect for the 76ers OP. Well here's mine

MLB: Cubs

NBA: Orlando

NFL: Okay I gotta be a homer on this one. There have been 49 super bowls and the Eagles have yet to win one ;_;

I also feel for the Lions, Bills, and Vikings for the same reason. One day guys!

NHL: Winnipeg. Glad they got they're team back. Hopefully more of the old teams come back.

Minnesota Vikings

Have only had one great quarterback, the rest were on their way out. Have had some of the best RBs and WRs in history, and still couldn't do it. They've come so close and have never won a super bowl. They haven't been to a super bowl in my lifetime.

Gary Peterson and Favre happened.

Chris Carter deserved a ring.

Losing your best player to free agency is a weird way of improving.

Matthew Stafford is by default the best player on our team and most teams in the NFL (sans maybe the Packers, Patriots and Broncos) because he plays Quarterback and he's a damn good one at that.

Suh is one the best defensive players I've ever seen and I knew he would be great when I saw him play at Nebraska. We traded for another great Pro Bowl DT in Haloti Ngata and drafted a Auburn DT who I think will be solid in Gabe Wright.

Most of the success our defense was because of the schemes and plays our first year D coordinator, Teryl Austin, called. He'll be a head coach by next year.

I know that but who knows what would've happened after that. None of the teams left in the playoffs had me worried.

Last years roster and the current one we have is as talented as any in the NFL and can beat any team in the NFL.

There is a reason the NFL gave us 4 nationally televised games this season. This team is led by a young, gunslinging QB and can fuck around and drop 30 points on any team. Our added draft picks this year will only help.

The Vikings deserve to win a Super Bowl. After what happened in 1998 and 2010. I was a High School Freshman in 2010. I remember the excitement and I'm not even into football. Everyone in Minnesota though they were going to win the Super Bowl it was finally their time.....until it wasn't. Not to mention the four times the Vikings actually made it to the Super Bowl in the 70s but lost all four times. They may not be the worst team in the NFL but when it comes to coming so close but never making it no one does that better than the Vikings.

Signing a worse DT is not improving. Keeping the same defensive schemes as last year is not improving. Any improvement a team makes from the draft cannot be accurately judged before those players play a snap in the NFL. Stafford was on the team last year, so still not an improvement.

But yeah, the Lions are totally probably the most welled rounded team in the league.

In terms of English Premier League I support Newcastle so other than them I am sick of the same old teams winning.

Fuck man utd.
Fuck liverpool.
Fuck Chelsea.
Fuck man city.
Fuck arsenal but not really because I like them.

I'd love to see Tottenham or Southampton win it.

I also forgot The Nuggets. Because the Nuggets.

Also, it would be definitely nice to see Durant win a title. One of m favorite players ever.

Liverpool have never won the premier league pal.

Would love them to, last season killed me.

I'd love to see St Mirren win the SPL.
