The problem with American chocolate is that is tastes like puke. Due to Butyric acid.

Fortunately, in Europe we have higher food standards. This means our chocolate is of greater quality, using fresh milk, more cocoa and less sugar.
I agree. It tastes horrible especially milk chocolate Hershey's bar. I'll only eat their dark chocolate bars. Usually I'll eat Twix or Reeses sticks. If I want plain chocolate I'll go with Lindt

Ask me about my wife's perfect butthole
Do Europeans really think the only products available to us are the exported ones? Lol

There’s probably half a dozen local Chocolatiers I can buy from at the grocery store across the street, and a couple dozen total non-Hershey-barf flavored brands.

So you're saying Hershey uses milk that has spontaneously turned rancid?

Yes,, ever since WW1.
At the time there were issues with increasing production and stocks, Hershey lobbied the government to allow using rancid milk.
After the war, a lot of soldiers were used to the flavour, so they kept selling chocolate tasting like puke.

I agree hersheys tastes like vomit but Lol did you pull that explanation out your ass?

Per gemini:

The reason some people find Hershey's chocolate to have an unpleasant taste is due to the presence of butyric acid. This compound is naturally found in some foods, but in Hershey's chocolate, it's sometimes added to enhance the flavor and extend the shelf life. However, it can also create a sour or rancid taste that some people find off-putting.

My wife has done quality at a dairy for 12+ years, I guarantee you that isn't true.

Also from search;

No, the U.S. government did not allow Hershey to use rancid milk. However, during World War II, Hershey did produce special chocolate bars for the military, known as the “D ration” bars. These bars were designed to be durable and withstand high temperatures, but they were not intended to be particularly tasty. The ingredients included chocolate, sugar, cocoa butter, skim milk powder, and oat flour12. The taste was often described as bitter and unappetizing, but this was intentional to prevent soldiers from eating them outside of emergency situations12.

America already has all the best foods, we can give Europeans chocolate. Lord knows their palettes could use something interesting after all the fuckin beans on toast and butter sandwiches they eat.

Most of America.

But I would take any good European chocolate recommendation.
Aldi in America has cheap European import chocolate.

We finally have some politicians willing to talk about the abysmal state of American food.

American here, can confirm that you are, unfortunately, correct for the most part. Most standard chocolate brands here are garbage, but we do still get great boutique brands in America. In particular, Seattle, New York, Chicago, and Portland all enjoy world class chocolate makers, but yeah most standard American chocolate is ass and you have to pay out the ear if you want the good stuff.
