Who’s actually enjoying The Last of Us 2 remastered? No OT or anything?

Bought this game on launch. Played maybe 2 hours. Moved on. Why? Who knows. (OG 2020 PS4 launch)

This game is fantastic frankly. The combat. Exploration. Steam Deck it runs like a hot knife through butter.

How far along am I? I feel I've just began, yet it's 7 hours.

Bargain buy at $38 I say.

Also, haven't even attempted the No Return mode. Apparently a rogue like.

What say you all?

Playing it now on PS5 Pro, $10 upgrade. Shocking how good this thing is and it was a last gen game. I'm amazed at the love and care that went into this game (animations, detail, world building, etc). I just started playing as Abby and hope to plat the game before S2 of the show ends. Sad this game was ruined by the internet prior to launch and so many false narratives were put out there. This should've sold more than TLOU1.

Anti woke in my games. I genuinely don't feel the woke. Yeah it's here. But doesn't feel forced to me. It's kinda natural and it's fine. Plus the combat and exploration is 10/10. It's all here.

It's a notable game for how poorly designed it is. Some of the absolute worst encounters and shoddiest mechanics of a recent AAA game. Presentation is great. That's about it.

I do not intend to revisit it.

Planing to buy it on Steam after finishing the gargantua named AC Shadows AND buying a new 4K TV.

Saw that it's a 20 something hrs just main story?? If so, it's good, it should take a lot longer if I do extra stuff or daydreaming.

7 hours in and allegedly in 20% done. I'm not exactly slow poking it. But not speed running it either. Also I hear their new rogue like mode is fun

Well. How far along am I ? Based on that photo

My 7 hours feels like I've barely began. It's me and Dina just kinda getting going I feel
isnt that literally the first area in the game with Dina? Like that open world area. You just started the game. You have lots and lots to go.

You will get bored of the game long before it ends. Dont worry. Its a long ass campaign. 30 hours. 25 if you rush.

It's literally 2 campaigns in one. Just sit back, enjoy and let the game take you on for the ride.

Yeah. Feels super early. Again, not exactly taking my time. I'm exploring, but not THAT much as I do like to advance its story.

its 24-25 hours, but 30 if you take your time and explore everything. its two TLOU1 campaigns in one game.

The game is fuckin GOATED. I was on the hate bandwagon as well when the Joel stuff leaked, decided I was never gonna buy the game. Watched the cutscene movie on YouTube and it was amazing, but NOTHING comes close to actually playing this game for the first time. Light years ahead of RDR2, which was an absolute slog to play.

Played it back during my PS4 days and it made my PS4 Pro sweat buckets. Not that that bothered me because I was so thoroughly engrossed in the story, my partner as well as she would watch me play and follow along with the story.

Now we're on our way out tonight to watch advanced screenings of The Last Of Us season 2 here at a local cinema so hyped for that and to jump back into the game on PC.

Joel getting lit up shocked me some. But it was Ehhhh. Move on. Don't care. Owned the OG on PS3. Didn't play it much. It's how I am sometimes. ADHD gamer.

Nice, then the way that I play games, should take me 30-35.

I enjoyed part 1, but it didn't blow me away, the best thing for me was the attention to details and the whole apocalyptic world.

Game like Dark Souls, I can play that game 100 time still have fun but with TLOU2......once is enough for me.
Yeah. Not saying I'll replay it like DS lol not remotely. Can't happen. But seems fun. No true issues I can name. I'll choose DS over this any day. But… it's not trying to be DS

With TLOU2 is entirely depend if you enjoying the story because the entire pace of the game based on its story with many flash back sequences.

For someone like who didn't enjoy the story or the characters the game was a slog.

Once you complete the game, it unlocks cheatcodes like infinite ammo, infinite crafting, etc, just super fun. You can revisit any chapter you want as well, but I would recommend starting a New Game + on Survival difficulty with all the cheats turned on. The enemies will be much more aggressive but you'll have infinite resources to kill them. Blowing up hordes of people and infected with explosive arrows is incredibly addictive!

I'm finally going to play it for the first time on PRO. Hate to admit but I sat out because the game leaked and I heard way to much about it and I got angry. my fault for letting it get to me.

Should have known better. Last time I sat a game out because of it supposedly being terrible was days gone. That game ended in my top 5 from last gen.
