I always thought with Reloaded that a miss opportunity was them doing a spin off of other versions of the Matrix.
When they bring it up in that movie and how there were versions with legendary monsters and ghost in them.

You're being harsh on the Wachowskis in my opinion. Matrix 1 is a masterpiece, 2 was pretty good and 3 was... uh. They also did Speed Racer which I really like too.
And they made Cloud Atlas, another greatly underrated masterpiece!
I would say Sense8 was very solid too. They are not your average Hollywood yes man.

I haven't watched that live action Aladdin movie, so I don't know if those are scenes from it or a music video tie ins.
Cloud Atlas benefitted from a strong book as a source. I think their decision to use prosthetics was a bad call though, made it laughable even if they did a good job working the story.

Yeah I know it's adapted from a book (supposedly unadaptable), and yet they translated it perfectly which is insane in itself. For the make-up while I agree to some degree, it never took me away from the movie. I think the story is beautiful and the OST is "chef kiss". Not to mention the stellar cast.
I love this movie ^^.

WOW! You stopped watching an actor because of one action. It was wild but he apologized and Chris eventually forgave him. If HE did, why can't you? It's not like he does that often.

Yeah, he handled the apology badly IN PUBLIC... But he also apologized to Chris in private and according to Chris, he forgave Will. They buried the hatchet.
One action shouldn't color the man's entire life. He didn't put Chris in the ICU, didn't kill him, didn't do anything that's illegal or evil. He isn't perfect NOR she he be expected to be perfect. He's human. With human feelings and he let one moment get to him ...
I'm still amazed at how people will forgive some but not others for the same action, televised or not.

Nice. Considering the matrix trilogy is loosely Hinduism; smith can simply play another avatar in the same world or another multiverse avatar. I just hope they can do great action scenes vs the 4th trash.

I don't hold anything against Will.
At the time I thought it was a dick move, but then I put myself in his shoes. I imagined if somebody made a joke about my wife's condition. A condition that I knew my wife was insecure about. Would I have laughed it off? Nope. I probably would have done the same as Will, but with a closed fist.

Please no, Matrix has already suffered enough neglect and abuse. I'm sure most people are happy it was Keanu Reeves and not Will Smith that ended up being Neo, but you find out that many movies that you have watched and liked have passed up on other potential actors for the main role, and sometimes you think it could have worked out for that actor, I don't get that vibe from Will Smith. It's like Tom Cruise, he has his own style of movies that work for him, same with Will Smith and Matrix aint one of it. The Matrix is a serious movie, leave the punch lines at the door.

I know it’s not the same circumstance and it’s meant to be funny, but seeing comedy anywhere near Matrix makes me cringe at what could have been. Even though he’s done serious movies I just can’t see it having worked out.

Even with their transitions, that's why I still respect them. Speed Racer is easily one of my favorite movies.
I also felt like one of a handful of people who appreciated what Cloud Atlas was doing. It really felt like something that you have to twist your brain into a pretzel to understand completely the meaning of it's trying to convey. It's not something that can be explained, but only felt. I know how pretentious that sounds, but it's the best I can describe it. It also just had really solid performances throughout. I actually liked how they used the same actors to play different parts in different time periods. There were connections between those characters that I was able to pick up on because of that.
Ya know, I'll go out on a limb here and say...the first 1/3 or so of Matrix Resurrections could've been made a good movie also. It just kinda falls flat eventually.

Yeah, Matrix spoof videos are peak 2000-era and at this point honestly pretty cringe.
Dodged a bullet with him passing on the project honestly. Can't even imagine him as Neo.
