Death Parade-END
So, was a season 2 planned for this? So many questions are outstanding about Decim and the world or the arbiters...
For what we got, this was a pretty fun series to watch and that last episode was pretty well done. My favorite part was still episode 8-9, but the series as a whole was pretty good.
So, this is the power of SAO, huh ? There were probably like 1.5-2k people at the screening. And sorry (not really) to the fans but they are the worst : laughing constantly at unfunny shit like Kiritos harem playing the dark souls of arcade games, clapping at every Kirito x Asuna scenes, or clapping at creepshots of Asuna or Suguhas tits. What in the fuck.
Sword Art Online The Movie - Ordinal Scale :
The story is about what you can expect from the franchise, its art. Movie spoilers :
Its the story of an asshole, stealing memories of SAO players with the AR device he created when they lose (possibly killing them), in order to resurrect his dead daughter in AI form. Yes, because every SAO players knew her, right? How the fuck do you steal memories anyway. And how the fuck do they keep selling that kind of dangerous shit. Dumb
. The AR concept is fun, but once again its filled with unnecessary awful drama.
Fortunately, the action with Kajiura songs as well as the virtual idol made the movie entertaining. There were plenty of raids against tons of different bosses, with a mix of nice cqc and firearms. Weirdly, there was a fight where a boss was drawn in 2D and the other was in 3D, and that was pretty jarring. Are dragons that hard to animate?
That final boss though. Holy shit at how great it was, the animators really went all out on this one. Great climax, great moment of fanservice, and great music. Pretty impressed by it. Probably redeemed the bad writing. Or maybe not. But it was great!
That was really bad and pointless. I would've preferred BOO HAUNTED HOUSE jumpscares as opposed to nothing.
Dude listens to a tape that slowly goes more ominous until its talking about very recent events he didn't remember recording (thats just gibberish) and the last entry is about a wedding he is attending tomorrow, and he shuts it off. The stinger is "The wedding was as exciting as can be" then the episode ends
Wow, Dragon Dentist wasn't what I was expecting... the production values on this one is quite high. I got Spirited Away vibes with Last Exile in some scenes...

K-ON!! 6
Rainy day episodes always get. Major notes: the very real love triangle of Yui/Giita/Azunyan, and then Yui and Ui are too perfect together when they really shouldn't be.
K-ON!! 7
That was some weapons grade creep shit. So not only is Sokabe creepy enough to stalk someone but then also to create a fan club of them on the down low.
And she didn't even pick the best girl, like come on.
Also, just want to point out how funny it is that the hedonism club had such a struggle to recruit when Mio's fan club is several times bigger than the band.
Tales of Zestiria the X ep.19
There is no way they can finish the story in 5 episodes without it being really rushed, imo. This episode on the strife back in Ladyla key with Princess Alisha was pretty damn good though.

This really should just become the Reverto show. It'd be a 2nd rate Gintama ripoff, but that would still be better than most of Monster Hunter Stories so far. Too bad even though Lute is living with him for now he doesn't seem to be getting much screentime. Even Lute was funner when he was interacting with him, compared to his super polite interactions with the other cast members or the repetitive Navirou jokes.
Kai actually participating in some of the training stuff was surprising, he usually sits things out and is, as Tyson says, a loner. Actually glad he helped Antonio just to finally get Tyson to improve his skills.
Driger seems like it will be much improved, Ray needs to stop having all these roadblocks interfering with his development though.
Yeah, I think the bullets were limited in the game. Well, the anime also changed it to a normal gun instead of a "shoot yourself to power up" gun, so it probably just works differently in the adaptation.

Oh yea it is a powering-up weapon, I forgot that detail. At this point though the anime could go in any way, so I ain't all that surprisee by the changes. I'm expecting lots of difference by the end.
Not the most action heavy episode but it was good. I had only just realized this was already 20 episodes and last time we saw Saiki he was struggling to fill in the shoes of his mentor. Fortunately, he finally gets a chance to do something memorable. I had a few happy tears for him when the moment finally happened. Hopefully he can continue to do good in the remaining time.
This show is suddenly heading in a terrible direction. Absolutely terrible. . WTF is even going in with this religious cult-like society and now he has to
I like how Laura and Mahiru have slowly become their own duo thanks to being the more level-headed and thinking members of the group. They go well together. Second best pair in the series. Best of course is Yume/Ako, who were also great this episode. I always approve of old songs being sung by different characters. Spices things up and shows a different perspective.
A fairy is an odd inclusion in an futuristic mecha, wonder how it will be important.
Daba has great fighting moves and I hope we keep seeing him do things like kicks have slow motion applied at the moment of impact. The song that played when he did it was cheesy and the best too.
