But I agree with you on Yang. He was dealt a pretty shitty hand and had to make do with what he had. I mean, compared to Reinhardt who had, like, 10 super generals, Yang was positively destitute in having competent subordinates.

That's the one aspect that makes me really appreciate Yang. He, for all intents and purposes,

never lost a match against Reindhart despite his inferior fire power and his incompetent superiors. He was an incredibly war general, but his problem was that his political beliefs did not let him see just how unlegitimate the government he served had become. Eventually he forms the Iserlohn republic, but it was too little to late.

Of course one does have to wonder whether that was ultimately for the greater good, as the Neue Reich brought stability to the galaxy (or the dozen planets that comprise the galaxy, really; the scope of power is very centralised), Reuenthal revolution aside.
