With Sony licensing games to Bandai Namco, what other games should they license?

Gravity-Rush-Remastered

The weird thing about Gravity Rush is that it's the one Japan Studio brand that Sony keeps hinting has a future. They're making a movie of it, they did an anniversary developer chat not too long ago, they post tiny bits about it here and there, a remaster/PC release is rumored... I doubt Asobi would do it and Bokeh would need to survive Slitterhead to even be considered for contract of their old IP (which Sony has done a few times in the past, hiring GenDesign or Eat Sleep Play back on for the brands they left behind to go indy, but would Toyama even want to look back?), but out of all the Sony IP that was shelved in the Japan Studio closure, GR could be one that Sony might want for themselves even if BN asks for it.

Banco should license stuff like Tokyo Jungle and expand on the concept. Freedom Wars sure, Folklore would be rad, Motorstorm would probably be a good fit.
If their gonna license stuff out though, franchises like Wipeout,Patapon,Ape Escape etc need to stay PS Exclusive, no ifs or buts.

Once they start making more money with this it won't stop, games will come to more systems and at a faster rate not just older games. The era of full console exclusives is pretty much over. Maybe time to actually utilize my beast of a gaming pc for more than just emails and spreadsheets haha curious to see what next gen brings to the table for Playstation and Xbox though.

I agree. I wouldn't even consider GR obscure, sure it's a little niche and its target audience is fairly narrow but it wasn't even that long ago Sony greenlit a full fledged sequel. It had decent marketing and exposure at events too.

although is not an 1st party game, but since it is pretty much a ps exclusive:God Eater.
a remaster of GE2RB will be fantastic
A bit similar to God Eater, there is Freedom Wars re releasing soon if not already out!

On the same genre , they could also do something with soul sacrifice, it was awesome.

A re-release of Tokyo Jungle with online multiplayer for the Roguelike mode would be sweet:

LocoRoco seems the obvious choice. Work was already done on the remasters for PS4. Seems like easy money to knock out a Switch release (throw in Midnight Carnival too and the Cocoreccho screensaver game as a bonus).

PaRappa the Rapper is another, for the same reasons, and would be ripe for a new entry on Switch and VR platforms if it did well.

I feel like if a new Ape Escape was made, i'd prefer that to be done internally by a newly formed team at Asobi.

Also, fuck it, give Siren to Supermassive Games and Bamco can publish.
