I liked garrisons.

Wonder what's the actual statistical consensus on it.

Garrisons were literrally the worst thing you can implement into an MMO and expect it not to directly impact the social aspect of the game.

Instanced areas where you have nigh unlimited herbs, mining resources, and the capabilities to enchant your own gear and skill up many professions?

Not to mention getting Mythic gear twice a month without so much as stepping into a mythic dungeon? (glad they removed that).

Garrisons just made it easier to avoid many of the necessary social interactions that WoW has been thriving on for years.
