This demo is meaty

Apparently it includes the prologue in addition to the first three chapters of the game. There are 11 chapters total, plus an epilogue, so this is about 1/3rd of the full game. People online saying this demo takes between 7-10 hours to complete.

It's an Ys game, so I'm basically in no matter what. Need to finish Metaphor first, which'll take a while.

For whatever reason, I'm kind of tempted to play this one on the PS5 Pro. I've played all the others on PC, but yeah.

I was thinking that, but it sounds like Durante once again helped make a kickass PC port so I’m going with Steam for this one

You would be missing out on all the features Durante's team added to the PC port like FOV slider, better anti aliasing, expanded range for background pop in, etc. The biggest one for me is the option.to remove the games rim lighting. That's the white outline you see around all the characters and objects in the game. I don't like it at all.

Yeaaaah, maybe you guys are right. I know Durante and co do good work with these games, but it looks like they really put a lot of effort into this one. As much as I wanna dive headfirst into playing stuff on the PS5 Pro, maybe I should just grab this one on GOG.

It doesn't seem I will be finished with Metaphor by friday. I think I am about 3/5 of the way through, but who knows.

I'll still be picking up a PS5 retail copy on friday. It will be fun to get back to a pure action JRPG after Octopath Traveler and Metaphor.

Trying the demo scratched an itch. I'm debating on getting it. I know other games like BO6 come out this week so it's a big week. Liking the demo about an hour in though.

Amazon now has this game listed as releasing November 7th....wtf?? I preordered months ago and now there's a 2 week delay?

What the hell is going on with Amazon?? This is now the third game that has gone from "official release date" to either "out of stock" or "Release date delayed" on its release date.

Yeah, Amazon has been shit lately with pre-orders. Try and pick the game up in-store at your local Best Buy, Walmart, Target, etc

Damn that sucks, surprisingly Gamefly which is prone to do shit like this (they historically delayed Indika 2 weeks after it had already been released) have already shipped my copy as of a few days ago and I'm expecting it in the mail today.
