What teams do you guys use for the Marionette twins boss? I can beat it, but it sure is a drag because it's hard to have them both roughly down to the same % HP before you kill one due to the wonky targeting feature. I've been experimenting with both Zhu Yuan and Ellen as dps, but niether of them seem great for it. I'm tempted to say fuck the weakness suggestions and just take my Yanagi in there.

Lmao took my Yanagi team of Anby/Rina/Yanagi and beat it in under a minute. Fuck them twins, and fuck suggested weaknesses lol.

I hope the decibel update is favorable to her. Out of the DPS characters I have, she feels the worst to play. She feels useless when she runs out of ether bullets and I don't like the "hold the button down and move the stick" type gameplay from our gun characters. Can't wait for a new Ether DPS to hit so I can move on from her. She probably gets fixed with additional copies or her W-Engine, but I don't want to invest anything else into her at this point.

Well, recent rumors and beta leaks in regards to 1.4 were true, so maybe rumored Zhu's rerun is also a thing. We'll see.

About yesterday's fan voted award at TGA 2024 that got people riled up on socials and even here on GAF: I voted for all 3 gachas that made it to the final (ZZZ, WuWa and Genshin). so I guess I'm part of the problem.

But being real, I had a lot of fun this year with all 3 gachas so I'm glad that they've made into the final. And no, I don't expect any free pulls or currency in these games in return lol.

50 polychromes. Why not just give away a tape, even for the normal banner?

Maybe im just playing too much Brown Dust 2... Last month or so, I mentioned how generous Shift Up was with they anniversary by giving away around 200 pulls plus a new free character, well Brown Dust 2 devs dont want to feel left out and for they 1.5 anniversary they are giving away 2 characters, (1 brand new + rerun character from last year) and 500 free pulls. I dont even know how the game sustains itself as i never had to use my gems in the gacha. They give away so many gacha tickets that i have been able to pull in every banner and get the characters and my ticket count just keeps increasing, now i have close to 600 tickets.

When it comes to ZZZ i might drop it after Miyabi and maybe will start WuWa when it drops on PS5. The gameplay loop is doing nothing for me, anymore. Love the characters and animations but the game lacks in many other departments. Will see if the 1.4 changes are enough to keep the game interesting or not.

Yeah, combat gameplay (as well as small events which are mostly bad) is no longer doing it for me either, it's been ~5 months and it feels like I've seen everything there is to see combat-wise 3 months ago (I highly doubt that new combat tweaks in 1.4 will improve and change it dramatically, but we'll see). I did let them know what I feel about the game so far via survey, hopefully they'll do something about it and will make the game better where it needs to be going forward and after 1.4, cuz I don't think they even begun to realize all of the ZZZ strengths ~5 months later and improve the game in key and much needed areas where it needs it the most, cut the pointless, boring crap and stop wasting their dev time on it.

Can't wait for 1.4, it sure looks like the best update for the game since launch, but again, we'll see if it'll actually deliver what all previous updates didn't and should've

I was just doing dailies and grinding some disk upgrades for a few characters tonight. I was 7 stamina short for a final run, so I went in and collected 7 stamina from my overflow, did the run, then noticed that I used 7 ether batteries instead of pulling 7 from the overflow. Then I had to grind out another 400~ stamina....

All of that and still not a single usable disk.

This game has some extreme RNJesus BS when it comes to discs.

There's RNJesus for:

1) Routine Cleanup
2) Music Store
3) Regular crafting
4) Crafting with special tunin Items
5) Leveling up to lvl 15 to get random +s to whatever stat RNJesus wants

So literally every single aspect is plagued with RNjesus. It's bad enough that special tuning items are extremely rare, but even with them you can get 99% of the time completely BS discs with trash sub stats just like during random crafting and then you have to wait a month to get them again. It's SO BAD!

Oh, without the limited tuning thing, forget it, man, the 5th one especially - there's so many main stats it can have that it'll take forever until you get the one you need and even then, substats will be BS.

I never have it in me to farm for perfect substats.

Well, Crit Rate/DMG characters basically require this.
