I decided to finish and get all Trophies in Joe Danger (Vita) before the next batch of PS+ games are announced next Wednesday. Or, at least, before they are released the following week. I'm still almost two full episodes away (the last two, actually)... and, fuck, this game is irritating. There are some desing choices that I just can't wrap my head around to explain why the developers decided to implement. And the framerate TANKS in some places...

... but I will conquer it. God damn, I will.

I had the same idea in mind but the game crashed out of the blue last night, corrupting my save data. It turns out the saves weren't being properly backed up to the cloud.

You mean people don't turn off the home menu BGM within 5 minutes of buying their Vita? (´・ω`・)

Though I suppose there could be some good tunes with the themes.
Well, I don't pass that much time looking at my bubbles so it didn't get annoying. Yet.

I have Money left for One Ps1 Classic from the Sale and want to buy one that i haven't played yet so.. help me out Guys!

Wild Arms
Syphon Filter 1/3
Soul Reaver
Blood Omen

Those are the Options, thanks!!

is a metroidvania-like 2D game? If it is, it might be of my taste
It's more 2.5D since you can go into the background and such and that's where the confusing map design comes into play. I suggest watching some game play or a review to see what I mean. All problems aside I beat the game and had a blast really.

Whatever happened to the game teflontactics teased? If I recall he said post TGS. Any word on what It might be?

As stated, TGS just ended - it's still to be announced and I'll make sure to point it out when it is. A friend of mine actually got to play it and says it's quite good, so though it's not big-budget I'm still excited as hell for it and the announcement. :)

Depends of what you want. I think Soul Reaver has hold up better than the others.

I'm playing Wild Arms and the battles feel a bit slow and dated, but it still is a good RPG.

Are there any more mystery games, or games that make you feel like a detective on Vita?
(Besides Danganronpa and Zero Escape)
I love these type of games.

Why the hell does a PS2 version exist of that Wall-E game? That movie came out like 2-3 years after PS3 and Xbox 360 came out.

It wasn't the last Pixar movie to get a PS2 game either. Toy Story 3 even got bundled with the system, in 2010.

Yeah, licensed stuff like games based off kid's movies are most likely to be the ones to be the last to leave a prior generation behind along with sports games (technically licensed games too) and the occasional super late localization (Sakura Wars was probably the last noteworthy PS2 game and that hit Wii as well, and Saturn got Magic Knight Rayearth as its very last title.)

No, this isn't the question you want to ask. The real question is why the hell do mediocre movie adaptations show up, but not highly regarded classic games like the 8-bit and 16-bit Disney games? We at least got a remake of Castle of Illusion that also included the original version (at least for PSN pre-orders), but I want more of that. Did the people who as kids played stuff like Wall-E even cared half as much as people who played DuckTales or Chip & Dale at the same age?

Soul Reaver! Probably my favorite PSone game (worst case tied with FFVII) great game, too scared to play it again in case it's aged badly will keep my memory of it In tact.

Definitely worth the money, but take it as a standalone game, because the sequel is never coming.

It's tempting but I'm one of those suckers still rocking an 8 GB memory card. I still have to work my way through Disgaea 4 and *gulp* Sword Art Online.

I may not love the game but I spent my money on it so I'm getting all the value I can out of it.

Blah, so close to the platinum for Velocity Ultra (decided to go back and finish it up after 2X came out) but I have boring tedious trophies left. I hate when I finish the difficult trophies for a game and have only the slog through tedium trophies left (though isn't it always like this?). If I did the hard part, I might as well push through for the Plat, but I wish it didn't have to be so annoying. Lunar Lander, really? I hate that game.

I enjoyed all the extra mini games in Ultra, and missed them in 2x (it only has one minigame, and it's puzzle oriented). Sure, they're clean up trophies, but they're all cool minigames which is better than collectible hunting.

2x cleanup trophies take about an hour or two (use a guide to find missing bonus level things, race to them, then the puzzles).

I enjoy most of the mini games, the only three that really bother me are the space invaders clone (it just takes too long to kill each ship and shot speed is slow, so it is very boring), the memory matching game (I hated memory as a kid, at least this was fast), and Smith's Challenge a.k.a. Lunar Landing. Smith's Challenge is about as far from fun as I can imagine, I have always hated that style game and it is so slow and tedious. Plus, did it really need TEN levels? Five would have been more than enough.

But enough hate, Velocity Ultra is an amazing game and I enjoyed every second of playing through and getting Perfects on all the stages. And it is truly #BestonVita because of touch teleporting being amazingly useful in many cases.

Keep tracking my Memory Card even though it's Sunday.

Can't wait to load everything on it and buy a few more games. After Monster Monpiece at least.

I thought Frozen Synapse was vaporware for a while but glad it is finally coming out. Looking forward to it. Hope it plays well on the vita.

Playing Destiny on my Vita makes me want to get Borderlands 2 Vita. Reviews seems to be mix; some say the game is completely unplayable and some say it's not that bad, but crashes every now and then. I've never played Borderlands 2 though so I don't think I will notice the performance and graphic downgrade that much. Should I get it or not?

I played through all of Borderlands 2 on both Vita and PS3, and I thought the vita version was great. If you are enjoying loot based shooters you cant go wrong with BL2. Vita has slowdown occasionally, but mainly in one early boss fight and one city where it doesn't matter, 90% of the game was fully playable with no noticeable hiccups. Great game for vita in my opinion. Just make sure to customize the controls, I recommend putting crouch and swap weapon on the rear touch screen as you rarely use those (crouch is barely ever used in a game like this and you can swap weapons with the D pad so the swap weapon button is redundant).

It has aged really well. Sure, it's a bit low-poly, but the atmosphere, design, plot and VO are top notch still.
The first Blood Omen, though, well, that one's a bummer. Especially since its crucial to understanding the overall plot of the series.

What if the gameplay AND the fan service is what got me interested? >.> lol

No judging aha. I personally love SAO so seeing all the girls fawn over Kirito just kinda made my eyes roll a bit. But like I said I put almost 100hrs into the game. I can't remember the last time I've done that with any game.

No it's a terrible mess. Framerate is pretty much unplayable. I bought it on a whim after hearing so much praise about it on NeoGAF, and to this day I still don't get it.

Also it turns out that the analog sticks on the Vita are really not suited for first person shooters, because of the small travel distance.
