They did do something about it. It's called A Realm Reborn and it's an open love letter to people who lost faith in the FF brand years ago.

Just to note that this is the result after the demo and Nomura out of the game. I think we will see more how gaf think about XV after March event, assuming SE will show new combat system, graphics...

It should also be noted that Persona 5 is a multi-platform release, able to appeal to the PS3 base. You're not going to have an easy time making straggling PS3 users consider a PS4, when a big release which they can play is coming out in the same timeframe. They still make up a significant chunk of the home console market in Japan in terms of software sales.

Even if released on the same day, I would 100% buy both, and play FFXV first.
Persona is great, but FF is my Star Wars, and I will always be there day one.

Also, 6? Star Ocean (last few have not been very good), Bravely Second (reviews are poor) and...? The Dragon Quests? A bit late but sure.
You think? It feels like a game for people that love modern day FF. Most of the people that play it that I know aren't long time fans, but they act like all the fanservice is targeted at them.

Persona 4 Golden is a legit 5/10, dungeon design is astrocious and the whole edgy anime character shtick is embarrassing. Okay, the UI is hard - but the rest? Y'all get blinded by your affection for 2D anime characters that are as flat as their character portraits. And now you want another one of those basura Social RPGs (can't believe I'm even typing this)?

I'd buy both but I would play P5 first. I mean really. Both games will be good but Persona will likely be better. This is my personal thought process.

I've only played the first 8 hours of Persona 3, so I'd get Final Fantasy XV first. I want to beat 3 and 4 before I play 5.

I love me some persona, but I'm too much of an ocd freak for slinks so I'd wait for others to finish it and have 100% guides to jump in. That and ff15's action gameplay is more enjoyable to me then Persona's system (which I also love)
