BrilliantShinra suffering from Cloud Strife.
What does that mean for FFXIII on mobile? I NEED TO KNOW!
but if divein is dead, how did they recently released the last remnant on mobile cloud... im not questioning the news just baffled about it.Their other cloud streaming thing is also dead, DiveIn or whatever it was called.

That's G-Cluster Global, not Shinra.
Seems like they're consolidating and trying to streamline operations? Hopefully they don't ditch Collective. That's a really great concept, and (last I checked) had great community support.Their other cloud streaming thing is also dead, DiveIn or whatever it was called.
This reminds me of Cellius.
Probably a dead-end subsidiary specifically setup to run out the remaining days of Wada's career.
I loled.Wada mess.
I mean... there was absolutely nothing to suggest that in the first place.I'm actually relieved about this tbqh. The thought of cloud only online gaming with no offline is horrifying to me, and this probably suggests that FFVIIR won't be an always online open world thing.
I loled.
Wonderful.Shinra suffering from Cloud Strife.
Well, $#%&!
You'd think after wasting millions on Crystal Tools and Luminous, Square would've finally stopped trying to roll their own tech.
But, nope - they had to do it again, and this time it's online tech! Something they have almost zero experience with!
And just like when they swallowed their pride and put their games on Unreal, they'll do the same with Amazon.
They should play it safe and release a 200 million dollar movie and go after that sweet Star Wars money.

Hey man that's not true. They have tons of experience with the amazing online platform known as PlayOnline. Most people like to talk about Crystal Tools or Luminous, but the truth is, the crazy chase for their own branded little thing started from Sakaguchi's era. I still remember that conference where they announced FFIX, X, XI or something at the same time, and was pushing how PlayOnline would be this amazing online portal which all their games from PS2 onwards would connect to, and they showed off early FFX concept ideas of how it would use PlayOnline in the menus.

PDF said:STI, as a cloud platform operator, has been trying to raise funds necessary for further business operations from third party investors. However, STI has found no prospective investors at this point, and therefore has to discontinue its business.
The cloud was a big tag line in the beginning of this Gen then it slowing disappeared. Wonder what happened.
Looking at the announcement article is pretty great.
The future is now!
Wada seen a lot of things (mostly imaginary), but the new CEO likes actual revenue streams.
Don't worry, between these two they had highly successful services like Core Online and Dive-In.
