George Lucas Will Be Fully Involved In 'Indiana Jones 5' According To Spielberg

Cool. That's good to hear. I don't agree with Lucas not being involved on some level with Indiana Jones and even Star Wars. The ship might have sailed with Star Wars I guess. However Indy will always be Lucas' and Spielberg's baby. He should be there to some degree. I honestly feel if he had some degree of input with The Force Awakens wouldn't have felt like an A New Hope repeat in a lot of ways. Say what you will about the prequels they at least were unique and not repeats of past films. They were original and as much as I enjoy A Force Awakens it was not. I think he should still be there to a degree like he was there for The Clone Wars series.

You must not have seen Indy 4. Had the stench of Lucas all over it.

I have a big problem with the refrigerator scene like everyone else but that's pretty much it. I enjoy that film. It's no where near being my favorite but I didn't hate it at all and I have no problem rewatching it. Outside of the nuke and fridge nothing in that film is anymore outlandish then the stuff that happens in the first three films. I was not and still not going to jump on the Lucas hate bandwagon when it comes to this.

I'm glad to hear. For better or worse, Indy is a Lucas & Spielberg thing and I feel it must keep being that way to the very end.

I hope they make a last one, be a good farewell and leave it rest forever, hopefully well protected from "remakes" and "reboots".

As much as I didn't like Crystal Skull I'm still more interested in a Lucas-involved Indy film than Star Wars films without him.
