I agree 100% but I'm not concerned about these sick fucks doing that.

I dunno how to describe it tbh, it's just heartbreaking to see this happen to my city and that's what's probably gonna keep me up all night.

Not only that it wouldn't be the first time the news has run with something that was completely false. CNN has a real bad habit of throwing stuff out there with very little to go on.

Hopefully everyone stays safe, sad that a peaceful protest had to turn out this way because this benefits nobody.

With two suspects potentially still at large and the DPD not knowing anything about them, I do not blame them for releasing that photo of the POI. They also stressed that this guy was merely a POI and not a suspect.

At this point in time there are two people who have shot 10 officers who are not in custody yet, this is akin to the Paris incidents where the cops will be working all night long trying to apprehend any suspects.

It's like some of you guys are new to shootings and the internet. When this stuff happens, don't rush to post anything unless you're damn sure it's accurate.

This is so fucking devastating. A great example of a community peacefully protesting with the cooperation and support of a wonderful law enforcement community and some asshole has to fuck it up and further wedge divides. :( The uneducated and angry will use this to "fight for their side" and everyone else will suffer.

This would classify as a mass shooting? The guy with the picture should definitely turn himself in immediately for his safety. Irresponsible assumptions are being made and his life could be in danger.

can't blame anyone for taking that photo seriously. Dude walking around with a weapon like that, especially to people who wouldn't be used to open-carry policies, is sure to be memorable. Hope the news gets his photo off the air and that no harm comes to him as a result of this.

He was a person of interest based on witness accounts. Police needed to talk to him so he needed to be found so they released his picture. It's the news organizations that are calling him a suspect.

Well CNN (Don Lemon) is still calling him a suspect (person of interest according to the police), and apparently will soon air the video that we all watched.
