Sorry it's a knee jerk reaction to someone posting something absurd that I can't even begin to find a cogent response to.

I digress, I didn't expect such an innocuous opinion about some anime tubers would trigger the local stans, my mistake.

Now I'll admit, maybe I just haven't found an En vtuber I like yet and I just didn't like the ones I've tried to watch, that's fair enough. I didn't think it would be taken as though I thought all of them were terrible or w/e, not that it should matter.

I'm kinda torn, I want Calli to get gud at Among Us and for Gura to work on music. But this week Calli is busy moving and working on a new song and everyone on EN is playing Among Us getting ready for the next Collab.

I really want new music from Gura.
 
Maybe it is better not to know the history of the EN girls. I did learn who everyone is not long ago. I like them even more now that I know what they are capable of doing Dacon Dacon 's shit talk is a bit disrespectful to that history but he don't know any better.

I feel Hololive is holding them back from being more unique if anything, they are not imitations just people who really love Japanses culture. II cannot wait to see them create new shit. So yeah maybe it is better to be ignorant of who they are and think they are copypasta.

I also think it is a dangerous thing if you don't know who Calli or Gura was at this point, their fanbase are rough I got pilled on talking a bit of shit about Ame early on youtube and got piled on by fans. And don't even try to hint at who Calli or Gura is on youtube the fans get pissy about that too.

Bruh, you don't have to conflate criticism with "shit talk" it's not like I called their mom fat and said they were ugly or something. I just criticized what I saw of their Hololive personas.

Saying something is derivative isn't the same as something being a complete copy either, something can still be derivative and be good so it's not inherently negative.

Who are your favorite vtubers? I don't know much about Ai. We don't have to discuss what you don't like to death, unless not liking something is what you enjoy posting about the most

Coco is pretty much an American shitposter, so I don't even count her as a JP member, although she may look Japanese. She was still active on her old account as of 2 months ago.
I like her as Coco much more than her old stuff she is really amazing.

Have you tried watching Kiara? She is a Gernan otaku IG cosplayer, she speaks Japanese so much some of her fans get annoyed

You will see a lot more of Kiara on the JP side because she is friends with most of the girls by now.

Calli joined Hololive partly because she missed some of her old music friends, it seems when you join Hololive you cannot really keep your old friends as active. So now she is part of Hololive she is able to talk to her old friends. She does not speak Japanese as well as she wants so you might not see her on JP side often.

Idk if they actually retire characters when the original voice leaves but I'd be shocked if companies give up that opportunity.

Haachama is way too adorable sometimes

the only issue I have with her is she works like someone who works at a host club she is all about getting results. Getting simps to simp on her.

Not saying the other girls don't do the same or know the game but some of them are less agressive about it

I think Calli ofthen gets more money spent on her by feeling bad money is being spent on her. She often triggers Super Chat wars between US and Canada bros.

It is not that easy Hololive / Cover would have just replaced the girls they had to get rid of. If there is drama with a girl it affects the avatar too they are not easily replaced with another voice the fans would go insane if they found out.

Voices are easy to do many of the Hololive girls can do the voice of their friends they even do it as pranks on steam but the company has not been able to pull it off yet. They have fired about 6 girls now rather than just get a new voice actor.
 
I just watched a little of Haachama's no archive KFC ASMR stream that shit was creepy I don't even have head phones on and it was coming from one side of my laptop to the other. at the end many of these guys paid the max you can pay for a super chat $500 big ones more than a few of those not bad at all

but now she caught a cold because she has been going hard for a while now too many streams
