Saying something is derivative isn't the same as something being a complete copy either, something can still be derivative and be good so it's not inherently negative.

Coco is pretty much an American shitposter, so I don't even count her as a JP member, although she may look Japanese. She was still active on her old account as of 2 months ago.
I like her as Coco much more than her old stuff she is really amazing.
Have you tried watching Kiara? She is a Gernan otaku IG cosplayer, she speaks Japanese so much some of her fans get annoyed
You will see a lot more of Kiara on the JP side because she is friends with most of the girls by now.
Calli joined Hololive partly because she missed some of her old music friends, it seems when you join Hololive you cannot really keep your old friends as active. So now she is part of Hololive she is able to talk to her old friends. She does not speak Japanese as well as she wants so you might not see her on JP side often.
