If the end results was actually good he could do whatever the fuck he wants.
I'm 29, in my country referring to women "girls" till their 40s makes them happy."i'm not a virgin since i was thirteen, i've been with enough girls in my life...

I think even fans of TLoU2 have to acknowledge that is significantly worse than the first game, and that Straley's departure has something to do with that.

Hell no. TLOU 2 is miles better than the original. Im glad Straley left, he was too fucking soft.I think even fans of TLoU2 have to acknowledge that is significantly worse than the first game, and that Straley's departure has something to do with that.
Loud incomprehensible caveman noises
The hell are you even talking about? This is why I love TLOU2 fans, they know the game is shit so lash out in super basic ways without any real argument as anything more complex is beyond them, when presented with criticism of the game.
Its like people who watch nothing but transformers trying to explain why the new star wars is the greatest thing ever.
I know, it's fucking three hours long, but this video does a pretty good job in explaining why are objectivity and reason to decide it's not good.Your whole post I'm cool with besides this part. Who decides what's good is the question? Besides this I'm more on your terms than not.
Bullshit. If it really was, what about that happy ending which deprived the game of any sense?I respect him, but he wasn't built to tell truly dark stories.
The game is fucking called THE LAST OF US - Its supposed to be depressing.
Dude, i'm an eterosexual male. Losing verginity = penis inside vagina. What I didn't understand is that you need a hot dog to lose your virginity...or..!?
Bullshit. If it really was, what about that happy ending which deprived the game of any sense?
"But Ellie's now alone, it's not an happy ending beca.." GTFO, it's an happy ending. Which made the whole game a fucking joke.
Ellie killing Abby to THEN realize it was the wrong thing to do, because she still felt like shit and actually even worse, that would be good.. but then "goodbye sequel, and the entire premise of replacing Joel and Ellie with a woman (in male body to keep Joel gameplay) and a non-binary child".
You're delusional.
"I have 200 IQ and I have the absolute truth, and you are all wrong."I don't quite get what youre trying to say but let me just say this. As soon as you bring up "non binary child", your entire argument goes to the fucking trash can.
The game isn't supposed to be happy. Its not simply a "revenge" story. Have you never watched a movie where the main character wanted revenge and DIDNT get it? This is not a new phenomenon.
People fucking die in The Last of Us. Joel died. He was not a good guy. He was not a hero. He deserved the golf stick to the dome. He died to give motivation for the 2 new characters. You are supposed to be pissed off. You are supposed to hate Abby at first. Thats the point. ANY form of art that can draw out such emotion in its viewer is undeniably a success. You were attached to a character because of his good writing. Nothing im saying right now is even up for debate.
If you cant sympathize with her POV then you are just heartless, overly soft and emotional and just ... slow. Because she had every fucking reason to want him killed brutally. The man killed her father and doomed the world to eternnal hell. What the hell is so hard to understand? You people get too tied up in fictional characters, and let EMOTIONS to fictional characters cloud your judgement of great writing.
EVERY single video analysis has the same retarded ass arguments.
Stay out of writing.
Tell em brother.Keep crying, GOTY and be ready for more.
Man.. please.I don't quite get what youre trying to say but let me just say this. As soon as you bring up "non binary child", your entire argument goes to the fucking trash can.
The point being? The game isn't supposed to be happy. Its not simply a "revenge" story. Have you never watched a movie where the main character wanted revenge and DIDNT get it? This is not a new phenomenon.
Just like Abby deserved to be beheaded at the end of this one, then.People fucking die in The Last of Us. Joel died. He was not a good guy. He was not a hero. He deserved the golf stick to the dome.
Then again, i guess i'm the human and you the weird psycho since you weren't able to sympathize with Joel after the entirety of the first game?If you cant sympathize with her POV then you are just heartless, overly soft and emotional and just ... slow.
The same world which was shown in the entire game as literal hell anyway? The man killed her father and doomed the world to eternnal hell. What the hell is so hard to understand?
And you out of intelligent arguments.Stay out of writing.
I know, it's fucking three hours long, but this video does a pretty good job in explaining why are objectivity and reason to decide it's not good.
And it's not something over-analysed/nobody noticed, watching gamers playing pivotal moments shows how totally disconnected they were, no matter the "gender" nor "status", no one wanted to fucking fight Ellie as Abby in the theatre.. outside of mentally persons i guess.
Not sure why Druckmann would want players committing suicide by allowing Ellie to kill them. And i mean, it would be even kinda cool as an experiment i guess, an arthouse sort of thing.. but in the sequel of what at the time was the most critically acclaimed game even made? Something even movie directors looked upon (this is a thing, believe me, JJ Abrams said Uncharted 2 opening was "the best opening of anything cinematic – TV, film, game – that he’s ever seen")?
Another example from my playthrough. I've been using Abby for who knows how long, i'm meeting with Manny again, he's in trouble because of a sniper (someone i'll have to fight, a sequence straight from the first one which is known for how fucking much players hated that sniper) but as long as he says "This sniper's a fucking pro" and i realize he's Tommy, i have the biggest, glorious sadist smile on my face.
And when he fuckingwalking like a Terminator from behind, i'm there cheering in happiness. Because i don't give a single shit about him anymore, not about Abby, nor him nor his father nor every single instance ND tried to make me sympathize with him.. he spit on Joel head while calling him pendejo and telling him to go to hell.. he fucking die and i'm happy to see it, end of story.blows Manny's head off

Oh sorry, I thought you was a girl! Lol
Are you really pretending that the criticisms of TLOU2 are "real arguments" and "complex"? You hate the game, and that's fine, but let's not pretend that the arguments against TLOU2's quality are highly deep and philosophical in nature. Every criticism I've seen is no deeper than "I don't like it, so nobody else is allowed to either".This is why I love TLOU2 fans, they know the game is shit so lash out in super basic ways without any real argument as anything more complex is beyond them, when presented with criticism of the game.

Everyone seems to like Ghost of Tsushima, I bet I would, too... but what specific element is remarkable? No one ever says while advocating it be GOTY. Should a game earn GOTY just for ticking all the right boxes on a checklist? Depends on the year, I guess.
It's basically just another Sony Ubisoft open world but with more polish. Congratulations. A B - minus rated game isn't goty worthy. Maybe if ghost of tsushima released in 2013 it would be. But today, nope. The world is stunningly beautiful. The story is interesting and the performances are solid. It's standout game play element are the duels. It has a few neat open world activities in hot spring memories and haiku writing. Other than that, it feels like just about any other open world game in terms of combat (non-Duels), sense of exploration (poor), traversal, crafting and collectables.

Druckmann said in an interview that they made an effort to make their female characters not attractive for straight males. So Dina became uglier and with smaller boobs than her actress, and same happened with Abby (her actress is pretty too) but for her even took a separate actress -with a more body building type body- for body motion capture. Why is Dina so uglier than her model?
This is an option.I agree with you op
Kick Druckman
Bring back Amy Henig and Bruce Straley
Make Naughty Dog Great Again
Is this real? If yes thanks God we had Bruce there. For those of you not familiar with the man:

It's absolutely amazing how you're spinning reality with this post. It's the contrary, there's fucking hours long analysis posted and we are discussing our positions. Are you really pretending that the criticisms of TLOU2 are "real arguments" and "complex"? Maybe the premises of the Thread are not.. but i'm glad there's enough substance in it. If someone would actually bother to watch what i linked and read what i wrote.. at least. Also
1. Nolan North hasn't even played tlou2 yet
2. Cascianna hasn't even finished the game yet, I've watched all her videos and nowhere does she say she hates playing as abby. You seem be really overblowing nothing to fit your outraged agenda
Ahem
I think I saw it twitch, keep going! Will we ever stop beating this dead horse?

Real GOTYPeople arguing over which Sony exclusive should wear the GOTY crown.
Meanwhile this lady probably sold more copies of her game than both combined:

edit: should be fixed E Explosive Zombie
Bruce still praised the story whether you like it or not. And nice job linking r/tlou2 posts. It's absolutely amazing how you're spinning reality with this post. It's the contrary, there's fucking hours long analysis posted and we are discussing our positions.
It's the "opposite side" the one saying "keep crying i'm right". Reason and discussions could only lead to TLoUII being criticized.

Quite amazing leaving for last "line of dialogue" in describing a super-heavily-narrative-driven product. And outside of that single line, he's only spouting truths which i fully agree with.
Absolutely not, and that's why Ellie should have slit Abby's throat giving a sense to the game.
But then goodbye sequel, and the entire premise of replacing Joel and Ellie with a woman (in male body to keep Joel gameplay) and a non-binary child.
And i would have no problems with it, if it was actually done better.
