I've been loving the crackdown on some of the more extreme members of sonygaf as of late

a few of them were bad enough that they would be the reee-cipient of a legitimate ban on resetera and thats just sad

Kagey K was just banned for console warring. He was a 'green team warrior' In this very thread MOTM MOTM used 'sony ponies' So yes let's not pretend it's just one-sided.

Plenty of people get breaks and take them for granted. If we could see the warnings like the bans, most these stupid ass assumptions wouldn't have a leg to stand on.
 
Not the language I'd use, but other than that I kinda agree with OP. Deleting posts is the most ridiculous thing. People are too fucking sensitive here, including the mods.

Edit: I'll even give an example. I wrote in one of the Forza Horizon 5 threads that I think it's hilarious that Xbox's flagship title is a racing game, and that, aside from the visuals, the game looks very mediocre. Post got deleted and I was warned.

Nah, the Xbox bias talk is useless. Just as this idea that console warring is due entirely to PlayStation fans that some delude themselves with. As GHG GHG pointed out, there are plenty of Xbox warriors who have been banned for console warring. But people tend to see what they want to see especially if they stare at the banned list for too long.

I used to be a console warrior peasant for a while. After I got my ban, I gave up because I realized the there was no point to the trolling other than showing people how insecure and lonely I felt ( I was going through some shit anyway)

Forum software typically highlights new accounts that have matching IP addresses with preexisting accounts. Of course, lots of folks get around that with VPN or other means.
