Whats confirmed so far?

- Callisto Protocol gameplay
- Cuphead new Delicious Course
- More Gotham Knights
- Some more MW2 Gameplay/info
- Frost Giant Studios RTS game (Former Blizz)


I expect the GOW release date to be released, maybe some more info on Arc Raiders, andddd hopefully a new Kojima game revealed.

Hopefully a few lower budget AA, B, or Indie games with unique ideas that most AAA games(aside from Kojipro and Suda51) wouldn't take a risk on.

When is that going to be exactly? Doesn't sound realistic at all if it is a 2022 game, specially since the last two PlayStation Showcases happened in September.

June 12'th will be interesting with MS presentation and the PC Gaming Show. I expect the Xbox and Bethesda showcase to be absolutely massive, they only need to show ElderScrolls and Starfield and they basically won "E3" this year. Avowed trailer and date, also Phil/MS promised a new gamepad? Maybe they'll show that.
Sony haven't participated in the PC Gaming Show before, I think? Mostly because it's totally lame, but what if they do, and they announce... Two additional games, one which is available for purchase "right now!".

There's been some corporate flirting suggesting Activision in Microsofts stewardship will return to Steam with the next COD. Presumably along with other Activision properties and Blizzard games. This is going to make some big waves. It'll get real crazy if they announce an upcoming Battlenet to Steam account migration.

Nintendo isn't part of Summer fest, but they'll hold a Direct? Showing a new Mario or something and kicking off the Splatoon 3 hype machine.

All said and done, I expect us to be able to tick off a lot games from the NVidia datamine leak once the event is finished.

You are confusing State of Plays with PlayStation Showcases.

State of Plays are spread throughout the year.
Showcases happens in September.

Horizon Forbidden West had a State of Play few months before game came out.

Gran Turismo 7 had 1 in February a month before the release.

God of War Ragnarok is rumored to be released in Septmeber of this year. If that's the case then it's safe to assume a release date announcement for it in either July or August and it will most likely have its own State of Play as well right before release.

The game is going to release on September an the State of Play where the date will be announced hasn't even being announced yet? I doubt it very much. SGF is the best bet if the game is coming out in 2022.

State of Plays are normally announced a week before they are happening.... soa date for the event could be announced this upcoming week, next week, or the one after and so on... there is plenty of time for a State of Play to be announced for God of War Ragnarok. I believe you do not have a clue how Sony schedules their events at all.

Summer Game Fest is not a place for 1st party announcements whatsoever. It's 3rd party and indies.
