I was just thinking the same lol. I just put my PS5 on sale. Drats. I justified the Pro purchase because I planned on selling mine for close to $350 (this is what I saw others sell theirs for on ebay).

Unlike pc, most of the games have woke shit and take 5 y to 7 years to come out.

There is room for awesome pc games and ps5 games. Stalker trilogy was done on pc by a dev house not a kid in thr bedroom, but factorio. Rim world, dwarf fortress, vampire survivors and Minecraft were all indies. And a Hella fun/successful.

Split was 80/20 with the PS4 Pro. Given the price disparity, i wouldn't be surprised if the splits were significantly more in favor of the base console this cycle, compared to the previous one.

Pro was never going to replace anything. It's literally for a more enthusiastic audience that intends to have the best hardware possible.

Anyway, this is a great price and it's...close to a Switch regular price. That 2017 console.

PS5 will be at like 72/75M by the end of this quarter. In 2025 it's going to surpass both Xbox 360 and PS3's sales which is a great milestone.
