Started playing The Shady Part of Me last night.
I liked the music so much I kept playing even though it's very simple so far.
It reminds me of Braid with the rewinding, but I've not yet seen if it has the puzzle elements of Braid with manipulating things while rewinding.
I set the graphics to 4K and it Looks nice. The voice actress for the girl sounds too old, probly should have made her silent with simple grunt noises. I'll try some of the other launguages later to see if those are better.

I liked it from the get-go, but it really comes alive in later zones with better and more interesting level design and your new magic tricks. Each big fight leaves a huge trail of destruction behind and it never gets old. The only weak spot is writing for side-missions: I'm all for stories with characters trying to understand each other and deal with personal problems (Psychonauts 2 did it flawlessly), but some of the stuff here is embarrassing even to a liberal guy like me. That said, one of the most fun AA action rpgs.

Based on the reviews and impressions SE Resistance sounds like a great Game Pass title, not something worthy of a purchase, unfortunately. I really hope they'll working on a full sequel and have big changes planned other than just adding new maps & objectives.

Apparently it did start as DLC for SE5, hense why its coming so soon after 5.
Still i watched someone do a full playthrough of the game and it took him around 15 hours so the length isnt bad, although he did every objective on the maps, and collected all the collectables etc.

That would explain it . Not impressed with the game and feel they've also turned down the gore a little.
