Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour Will Be a Paid Tour of Your New Nintendo Switch 2

BTW It's not the first time. I mean they used to sell this back in the day

It was basically an add for NES games.

Miyamoto: Create a tutorial so they can learn about the system
Devs: Yes Miyamoto-san, lo and behold!
Miyamoto: WTF is this? You spent too much time and money. We'll have to make our fans pay!

"Thanks for dropping $450 on our new Switch 2. Would you like to get to know some of the features on your new console?"

"Yes please!"

Why? I'm very hyped for Switch 2 but this weird as fuck!

No wants to pay for this? What Nintendo is thinking?

Reggie doesn't even work for Nintendo lol

Or is this just a fetish thing?
You clearly don't understand how the deep state controls gaming. Reggie may not in be office, but he's been pulling the strings and controlling Doug Bowser ever since he left.

Also yes, it's a fetish. 💨

Yeah this is weird as a paid thing, should just be preloaded onto every Switch 2.
First thought it sounded cool, then realized it's a paid instruction manual with some mini games. Not sure why this isn't a preload unless there's more and they're not saying anything. It also seems that almost every major upgrade from the previous version is going to require you to purchase a bundle for it

I don't know what's more Nintendo-y, the fact that they made a charming interactive manual where you run around a giant gaming system, or the fact that they're charging for it.

I miss Iwata. He would've made this a freebie for sure.

This would be an incredibly stupid move. Wouldn't pay for this, it should a free game to present you Switch 2.

I was shocked when they said this was going to be a paid game. Nobody is going to pay for this thing. Especially if it costs more than $5.

Truly unbelievable. Nintendo has fully lost the plot. They literally want you to pay for the privilege of consuming their marketing.

This being paid is the craziest thing I've ever heard. I was 110% sure this was gonna be their pack-in. Why would you ever buy this.

I remember when Wii U got Nintendoland and it was pretty awesome. What a fucking joke they have become.

I was shocked at the $80 game pricetag, then I remembered they're charging for a system tour app that screams 'pack-in'. That was sufficient evidence that Nintendo was entering 'sheer fucking hubris' territory.

This gets announced to be free if the backlash is strong enough.
Cracking Up Lol GIF

Love them or hate them I can promise you one thing....Nintendo doesn't give a fuck about backlash.

They have fucked over their own community so many times....and they pretty much never even say anything about it or address it...ever.

It's almost respectable how much they literally don't care.

Nintendo are the most anti-consumer company out of the big 3 and it isn't even close. This is one of the biggest jokes i've ever seen lmaooo. Charging u for a usual manual essentially lmaoooooo wtf.

Yeah this is weird as a paid thing, should just be preloaded onto every Switch 2.
compare this paid advertisement to the free Astro Playroom thing that came with PS5 which was both a tech demo and a decent AA game. It is kind of fucking embarrassing. Who the fuck wants to pay for a fucking marketing gimmick?

just like 1 2 Switch last time, this should have been a bundled in game, and I don't understand people who will buy it...

Feels like I'm taking crazy pills. Pay for a fucking digital manual that showcases the features of Switch 2? Sony paved the way for how a pack in game should look like demonstrating a consoles new feature FOR FREE. And it was also of very high quality. This is absurd. Switch made me a Nintendo lover. Switch 2 is making me a Nintendo hater. Fucking Twilight Zone 🙄

Sony has Astro's Playroom, and Valve has Aperture Desk Job. Both free!

Read the room Nintendo. This is going to fail so hard lol
