I have a bad feeling that those 7 swordsmen and 2 Brothers are not going to be playable characters. Look like they are going to be bosses only. I was hoping that they were playable characters, because I think I would play them a lot.
there was a ubisoft naruto game. It was much more of a adventure game with some light rpg elements. Is the cyberconnect games just a fighting game? Is there any exploration of the game world?
Still kind of worried about where they can end this. There isnt a great place to do it since the war arc is still going on even now on the manga.

Hah. Well right after you stopped (literally the next arc) the series started it's end game set up. And now we are firmed running up to the end of the series. I always said I'd pick up the last game in the series so I could play as everyone but I'm assuming the story arcs don't appear in later games in the series? If so I might have to pick this one up.
Well, I know that Naruto author said that this arc isn't final one. I assume that they will make sure that it will last for few more years.
I don't think the series is ending, as it seems a theme Kishimoto has always pushed is these three-man teams and the interactions they have until they are adults.
I'm thinking this is a wrap of of the "Shippuden" era of Naruto, and there will be another time skip where Naruto is older again.
This game will be mine. Especially as it looks like they brought back the story mode. Hopefully it's still full of collecting random items.

I still prefer the old Narutimate series... much the same way I prefer Budokai over the Tenkaichi games. CC2 knows how to make these games look good though.
