ThanksArtHands for the summary of new features
Instant buy for me. The original ultimate wireless from 8bitdo is the GOAT controller for the price IMO.
It has vibration.Am I reading it correctly that this has no haptics/rumble?
How?? These are more in line with Pro controllers with feature sets. TMR, extra shoulder and back buttons, hair triggers, 1000hz polling plus charging/connectivity dock. Other higher end chinese controllers like the more pricey Flydigi's are in a similar price range with questionable build quality and QC. Something like this from Sony/Microsoft would be well into the 200's.Needs to be more affordable for me to get into it, $60 is in first party land for price and while they get drifting problems, for me that takes 2 years or so and I have gotten my moneys worth by then. First party quality is still king and the thumb sticks on 8bitdo stuff has always felt “off”. Controller fps gamers I’ve talked too have all have felt the same way.
i mean do you actually LOOK at your controller when pushing buttons or do you look at , oh i dont know, the SCREEN? many games let you change the on-screen buttons to whatever you want.I just wished they had a model with the PS symbols. As someone who grew up with Playstation I just cant for the life of me get used to A,B,X,Y,RB,LB,RT,LT

Is there a version that works on ps5?Fantastic controller with one major issue. So many variations on which devices it can work on. They have done an all in one before. I just hate that you can't get one of the newer that works on Xbox, PS, Nintendo and PC.
Hope they make one for PS5 with asymmetrical sticks.Black one ordered, crazy that 8Bitdo is on the leading edge of tech at crazy good pricing
Not that I know of. I hope they make one. I own the Ultimate version that works on Switch/PC.Is there a version that works on ps5?
Nice one, thanks. I've gotta stop scanning text and start actually reading it!It has vibration.

I played Forza Horizon the other day with their older controller, the rumble was super good.Tempting. I might be game if the rumble has better definition and intensity compared to the default Xbox controllers shipped with the Series Consoles.
They are avoiding the MiFi thing to work with Apple. They don't want to pay Apple. Makes sense pass the saving to the customer. The really old one that has famicom buttons will work on Mac.I'm interested in one of these but I now have a M4 Mac and a switch. My switch pro works with both and doesn't seem like I can get an 8bitdo that does that. I'd like something with analog triggers.

Yeah, Switch and iOS support would have been nice.I'm interested in one of these but I now have a M4 Mac and a switch. My switch pro works with both and doesn't seem like I can get an 8bitdo that does that. I'd like something with analog triggers.
That''s good to hear. I've been kind of holding out waiting on Microsoft to release the Sebile controller but a bit disappointed that it's most likely not going to see the light of day until the next gen release of xbox hardware. Don't know if I can hold out that long.I played Forza Horizon the other day with their older controller, the rumble was super good.
Their stuff is really well-thought out in general.t
These things feel cheap AF
Someone tell me if the buttons are loud.
I think they have to put Sebile out because these Asian brands are essentially making better knock-offs of their existing controller and it's bad for business. That''s good to hear. Looks great, but isn't for me because I'm a human being with symetrical hands.
Agreed. Don’t know why every thread has to have some ridiculous negativity. They absolutely do not feel ‘cheap af’, the original is absolutely top quality.Umm wat? 8bitdo always feel solid and top quality.
For what it's worth, every configuration I've ever done to an 8bitdo device through their software, it's saved on the hardware itself. You don't need to have it running in the background. This is true for button mapping, wireless timeout configuration, stick sensitivity settings, etc. I imagine it'll be the same with these lights. As someone who already can't stand the bright led light on the xbox one / series controller, I think the lights around the sticks would really bother me. I imagine you can turn it off using their software, but I hate having to have softwares running in the background just to turn off some lights, I already avoided some mouses (like razer) because of that.
I also never tried these controllers but I've always been a bit worried about the shape, it looks like it would feel a bit too narrow with the edges being so straight like this. They seem like a decent option outside of these issues, but I don't know.
How's the build quality on 8bitdo controllers these days?
Considering them as long term replacements, Xbox durability has gotten much worse for me over then-years. Elite 2 is the last one for me, very disappointing device overall.
That's great to hear, some devices don't do that. It's not available on Amazon in my country either but it is on aliexpressI'm trying to buy it, But in the amazon in Italy I only find the ultimate 2c, and I don't want to wait 2 weeks for the delivery, what are the differences?
Appears to be using the same lighting tech as the "Ultimate C Wired Controller for Xbox".Hall effect triggers, TMR sticks.
Might get the purple one.
The light around the sticks is new, right?
Right as it is now the Switch Pro controller is the best bet. But alas no analog triggers.Yeah, Switch and iOS support would have been nice.
Ahh course there is a reason. I know some of them are officially supported. They are avoiding the MiFi thing to work with Apple. They don't want to pay Apple. Makes sense pass the saving to the customer. The really old one that has famicom buttons will work on Mac.
Is there a promo you've done recently or had something returned/refunded?Appears to be using the same lighting tech as the "Ultimate C Wired Controller for Xbox".
It works fine but I turned it off on the Ultimate C after using it for a few minutes. That just a personal choice, but if you like leds on your controllers I thought the light output was consistent for both sticks and not overly glaring/annoying. Hopefully no meaningful impact on battery life, but ill see when they show up.
Also, has anyone heard of a courtesy credit from amazon? I got the black version for free when I ordered it today...the black one had a -59.99 "courtesy credit" applied.
But you get useless gimmicks in the ds5 to justify the higher price tho.3rd party are moving past Hall Effect to even better Hall Effect, and 1st party controllers are still stuck in stick drift land.
With the extra buttons on top as well as on back I'm almost certainly ordering when it hits the UK.
