So long story this video can be summed up Econ101/102
The XT undervolts pretty well, I've got it running in the low 200w's,I like low power usage. I have a 6800, which is not bad at all at 230w. But I still trim the clock a bit and dump the voltage. Keeps it under 200w and as far as I can tell, only loses a few frames when it's pegged.
I'd be more interested in the 9070 than the xt if the price made a little more sense. Of course with the state of the market, the price might make perfect sense...
Oh, what do you use for a fan curve adjustment then?
I guess I can just ask Gemini or CharGPT, lol, but figured might as well ask.![]()
To add for reference, IIRC 9070 vs XT is about a 10-13% difference so if you're only losing 5% that's a nice win.The XT undervolts pretty well, I've got it running in the low 200w's,did lose a little over 10% in frames(edit: after testing again I was comparing OC to UV, I actually only saw about 4% drop in performance compared to default via undervolting) on kcd2 for example but still over 60 (1440p ultra/experimental).
There is a reddit post where someone only lost around 5% performance with a similar undervolt so YMMV.

Yeah, that is not the way to go! I think we will see restock this week again. Best bet is of course Microcenter if in US, but these aren't everywhere. My mind is getting twisted and I'm randomly regretting that i didn't buy the $650 non-xt I could have got lol. Thankfully I had a little more sense than that at the time. I knew then not to do that but all the drama is making me stupid.
