Back to the starting point - that now I'm waiting for 9070XT's restock. I was feeling pretty bad that I could have gone to Microcenter in the morning, than waiting and be fooled by Bots on line... but learned the lesson.
My previous success of nabbing 4080 Super FE, and nabbing PS5/XSX preorder on 1st day has spoiled me, I think. Now I failed 4 times consecutively - PS5 Limited Edition, 5090/50 FE, 5070Ti and 9070xt.
But it's just a chip. I still have 4080 Super on my main rig to rock with (I was looking for living room gaming PC's GPU) - and I can watch videos with 7800x3d's iGPU for now... and hope time will allow the prices and demand to come down quite a bit.
9070xt maybe a great one - but I'm little concerned about the power usage. I'm sure the thermals are all good and all, but seems like it's really really pushing the NV48 chip to achieve that kind of performance.
After seeing GN video, I'm more intrigued by regular 9070 - but still think this is overpriced, especially if it's falling so far behind on RT vs 5070. $499 or $449 could be far more compelling, no brainer purchase... or maybe that's the job of 9060xt?
Now patiently awaiting next shipments (hopefully not too long for both XT and Non-XT), and would want to see if this will bring any reaction from Nvidia, and current overpriced market.
I am beginning to wonder what kind of black friday deals will be there this year - and wonder if Nvidia will release revised 50 series Super earlier than usual.
