PlayStation To Acquire From Software, Claims Popular Gaming Insider

PlayStation might be gearing up to acquire From Software as per a latest report published by one of the most prominent analysts in the gaming industry.

According to a new report posted by popular gaming analyst and insider Dr. Serkan Toto who is also the CEO of Tokyo-based game industry consultancy Kantan Games, From Software is rumored to be M&A (merger and acquisition) candidate by Sony. He goes on to give us a rundown of the company’s history, with dates back to 1986 when it started as a B2B software developer. One of its projects was a pig-feeding management program, and that is quite a unique background despite the trend being quite common in Japanese Studios.

And yet more recently Demon's Souls was stellar.

But I'll ask, what was wrong with the support? I played it on PS4 day one and it was one of the best gaming experiences the generation had to offer.

If you're talking about the lack of a remaster/BC upgrade since then then I'm in agreement but if you're talking about the game as it was at the time? Nah, give me more.

Those are all very good targets and would give Sony great WRPGs and JRPGs. Also, CDPR is probably a bargain compared to what it would have been 2.5 years ago.

They have never and will never do this, I don't know why people keep on saying this nonsense. Every single one of their games published on PC has launched day one on multiple storefronts (the only exception being Predator, and they've even talked about that). It's outlined in their PC strategy in previous earnings calls if you care to listen/read.
