I wouldn't say diehard, but I have 100s of dollars of purchased games on Xbox Live marketplace that I'd love to be able to play again on Playstation. I do stil have my Xbox360, but don't run multiple consoles into my desk monitor

The market leader has become complacent. Resting on the goodwill brought by Bloodborne, Uncharted, Greek God of War, The Last of Us, Heavy Rain 🌧, the list goes on. All those bangers from PS3 and 4, when they weren't the people choice. Had to fight back.

All I have to show for the PS5 are remasters of the glory days. Don't get me wrong, I replayed and enjoyed them. Rebuying TLOU ... again... Their best offerings being Astrobot and SH2... and classic remastered. Ghost of Ubisoft has nice combat and maybe a good story but open world checklists turn me off. It's been done to death.

Now MS is where Sony was. Fighting to reclaim the lead. Giving us bangers. High quality games like Indiana Jones. Under appreciated gems As Dusk Falls.

False this is the narrative that people trying to push but PlayStation actually comes with new great ips every generation, this generation people are just up in arms raging about any & everything & discounting games before they even play them & that's not a PlayStation problem.

Strange thing about this narrative is that people was actually loving & enjoying these games from PlayStation a few months ago until this narrative popped up after Xbox started bringing more games to PlayStation.

Now we all should fear that the lack of competition is going to make PlayStation worse .

I'm pretty much done with consoles after Microsoft screwed the pooch. I've already made the move to PC, and I'm slowly buying games and filling up my Steam/GOG libraries. PS5 is for must have Sony exclusives only. If it's not must-have then I'll wait for PC.

There’s no such thing as a console going on sale anymore, so when do you buy them? Used at a pawn shop? I’d hate to have someone else’s beaten up, old system. With mushy buttons and who knows what else that isn’t great.

Ebay hasn't steered me wrong with purchasing used consoles. I still have 4 PS3 consoles I purchased from eBay over 5 years ago. I had more for experimenting with software. I sold those units and recouped that money. I also purchased 2 PS4 consoles on eBay. Nothing wrong with those and these were considered used, but in good condition. Eventually, I will get a PS5. Though, I haven't really been itching to get one, yet. So far, Sony is not making money off this guy!
